Hezbollah is a terrorists organisation according to Israel and US, though not according to the European Union.
you see, they do business with Hezbollah, like sell them some very sophisticated weapons.

When Secretary of State Rice went to Israel, she also crossed the border into Lebanon in order to talk to Hezbollah. She was was sent by President Bush to see if Hezbollah were in the mood for peace. She was desperate to make them agree a ceasefire. Hezbollah rejected Miss Rice's offer. They were in the mood of fighting Israel for a few more months.

Let them fight. They will lose in the end.

Damn it must be all Israel's fault still. They destroyed Lebanon. Hezbollah helps them [the Lebanese]. Please, they don't care for the Lebanese people. If they did, they would end this. Where is PieMan to talk only against Israel some more?

President Bush is simply taking revenge on Hezbollah for killing 235 US Marines in a single suicide bombing.

Mr Conspiracy, maybe you can help me understand a few points there.

You're saying European Union is selling sophisticated weapons to Hezbollah : what / where are they ?
You're saying European Union doesn't consider Hezbollah terrorrists, then why do Israel want them as a peace keeping force there after ceasefire ?
You're saying americans want the conflict to end : funny, the way I look at it, it looks like all Europe is asking for a ceasefire, but it's not happening because US won't sign any UN paper, boycotting peace.

There's also some other strange facts that are easily dismissed there.

Israel want the Lebanese army to deploy in the south to fight and disarm Hezbollah, then why does Israel bomb Lebanese army ?
Israel wants a UN peace keeping force to ensure non militarisation of the area, then why do they bomb and kill UN peace keepers ?

You see, Hezbollah was created in 1982 after Israel invaded Liban. So my guess is that whatever happens today and even if Hezbollah is destroyed, the fight will go on with another new organisation.

The UN peacekeepers were deployed there to witness Israel's withdrawal from Liban.
That's the same treatment Syria received after beeing asked to leave Liban alone.
On this aspect, Israel and Syria are alike.

But that makes me think, i thought the propaganda was telling us that Iran and Syria were arming Hezbollah, so why tell now that the Europeans are doing it ?
I think its a desperate attempt to get the europeans involved in there.
Israel is making the war and US are arming them.

Steve99 says let them fight, they will lose in the end.
But who will lose really ?

Even if its the Lebanese civilians dieing, the people losing this war are Israel and US.
Their obvious appetite for war and disregard of peacekeeping institutions is making them lose the little credibility they had.

I wonder what makes a country invasion legal.
When Irak invades Kuwait, it's illegal.
When Israel invades Liban, it's legal.

But do international laws really matter in this problem ? Guess not when Israel bombs and kills UN peace keepers.

Actually hezbollah does care about the people in lebanon they suplly health care, education, look after orphans , provide food for the poor etc...

Israel started this when they left lebanon in 2000 and refused to release any lebonese civillians that they where holding in israel without trial hezbollah vowed to free them and even israel knew this since 2000.

news.bbc.co.uk...

He said disputed land and prisoners still held by Israel should be returned to Lebanon - but made no reference to achieving it through combat.

and from the same report. They got some release through prisoner exchange but Israel did not release all the prisoners :

"I promise you that every prisoner will soon be returned and the farms of Shebaa will return to Lebanon"

EU does not ban sales of weapons to Hezbollah because Hezbollah is not on their terrorist list.

Nasrollah is a terrorist only according to President Bush, not to according the Europeans:

Thats why they sell them weapons against Israel:

What would you like me to say thats good about Israel Ret? If you believe that opressing Palestinians is something that I should speak well of, then possibly we should also think about reverting back to slavery and forcing apartheid back into South Africa. I cannot fathom how people would sit there and critiszie me for thinking that what is being done to the Palestinians is morally correct. Its not correct and please don't expect me to ever understand such a concept.

If this is something you would like to support , well thats fine for you, for me its not. I am not about to make Israels life easier just to put our own at risk.
