"Kremlin sources are reporting today that the United States has officially declared that a State of War now exists between their nation and the Middle Eastern nations of both Iran and Syria."

www.whatdoesitmean.com...

This is as controversial as the last post from "THEM"

So whats the verdict? Is it BS? Is it the truth finally coming out?

I have always said, truth is stranger than fiction!

BS.

Nowhere in the resolution does it "declare war" or even suggest military action. It says:

(10) urges the President of the United States to bring the full force of political, diplomatic, and economic sanctions available to the Government of the United States against the Governments of Syria and Iran;

Not a declaration of war as she claims below:

the US Senate and the US House of Representatives, is allowed to declare war, with their power to do so being left to them, and which in this new declaration of war against both Iran and Syria has taken the form of a US House and Senate Resolution, and which was the same legal device used to begin the American wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

haha, i like the line on the bottom of that page.

[Ed. Note: The United States government actively seeks to find, and silence, any and all opinions about the United States except those coming from authorized government and/or affiliated sources, of which we are not one. No interviews are granted and very little personal information is given about our contributors to protect their safety.]

- So in otherwords the information you are reading may or may not be true.

Why would that website have sources within the Kremlin?? ANd why would the Kremlin know that the US had declared war on Syira/Iran or anyone? A declaration of war is something for the Senate to do.

I think that hte people operating that page have a facile idea of how the world works. Someone doesn't just jump up and say 'well its war then!' and then slam their fist on the table. Hell, even if that does happen, it'd still need a declaration of war.

If I'm not mistaken, the last time USA declared war on anyone was against the germans in WWII. In the Korea war and the vietnam war, war was not declared. Neither in Iraq.

I mean conspiracy thearies are one thing but this takes it to a whole new level!!! Turkey invading Iraq? With our troops there? US declaring war on Iran and Syria LOL. This thread ranks up there with the one talking about Hezbollah launching 500 missles at tel Aviv and giving the Israelis an hours warning. Must have come from the same website.

Sorcha Faal is as full of crap as a christmas turkey. She has never attended the russian academy of sciences. Her scholar thesis is no where to be found. Do a search on her at either the russian sciences site or any other scholar site and u will see just that. NOT FOUND.

Really this seems more like an "end of the world cry" instead of a responsable post based on facts. I would hope the "mods" will jump on this espeasially if this is a growing trend. (Post outlandish news from a know bogus site). Perhaps such posts should have a warning disclaimer until a second source can be quoted. If that is already the case, maybe ATS Leadership can address and adjust the policy to safe guard against rediculus claims.
I think ATS does an outstanding job on keeping the posters as "honest" or should I say "prankless" as possible.

I think we declared war during GW1..

Edit: Nope. Congress just authorized the use of military force.

And that article is definately BS. Isn't that the same source that said Bush tried to arrest Tony Blair

They have some creative imaginations on that site.

I think that once it's pretty clear that a source is bogus, the mods ought to trash threads from that source, and also take some kind of action against the member that continually brings them here. ESPECIALLY when they deal with claims that could very well affect someone's life in a BIG way. There's a fine line there, I know, and please let's not get dragged into the source argument again. It's an issue of quality at and least SOME measure of truth, which I know Majic and crew are working hard to change. When the thread in question clearly transcends the possible, from such a clearly bogus source, it is time for action. Time for quality control from the sheer news perspective, if nothing else. Sorry, but this is one thread I don't mind hijacking. Reason: source bogus.

I would think, with the whole Iranian nuclear mess, we are pretty close, don't you think.

What happened to the war on terror, Isn't Iran a major terror exporter?

So incidently, we are at war with all of them.
Even Iran.
