U.S. to have new drills off coast of N.Korea

Interesting, the U.S. plans to hold military excercises off the coast of the Korean peninsula starting Aug. 21st ending Sept.1st.. Looks like the N.Koreans are quite upset by this. According to another article I read they are already on wartime alert, wonder what kind of rift this will cause.

Theres almost no better warning than having a carrier battlefleet or two off your front door, it tends to intimidate most people, but with crazy Kim , theres no way of working out what he'll do.

At the moment though, its about all America can do, they're unlikely to be able to open a front against the N Koreans in any way whilst still in Iraq and Afghanistan.
