While we all are dismayed by the daily casualties that are incurred in Iraq, We must remember that the Iraq War (Gulf War II) IS NOT OVER YET.

As the Coalition Forces swept across Iraq much of the Iraqi Army simply just hid their weapons and waited. It should be remembered that the Iraqi Army was said to be capable of destroying the entire Coalition Force arrayed against it, of course this did not happen. But what did happen was that there is still intact within Iraq a large and formidable armed force that will have to be located, disarmed and possibly relocated within Iraq.

Yes, We are suffering daily casualties (1-3 average) but that is a price we must pay to keep pressure on the remenents of Saddame's Army. And while these casualties are heartrending it must be understood that our goals are honorable and attainable. War is hell, but to live under a Saddame is worse, much worse.

God preserve our Country and our Allies, and our Forces that stand guard at the gates.

Keep up the good work, USAFSS-SP (Oldgi-US)

And where did you get the idea It was a price we must pay? George Bush?

I suspect you havent researched him, or his family, but only belive what you see in the "controlled" press.

Please, do the research for yourself.

ASE,

it is the price the US must pay inorder to maintain its standard of living and peace and security.

the communists said a long time ago that you only live by growing.

that is why socialists are against the war and attack Bush and the white House non-stop, they know this and they have to stop it.

Pray tell let us know annother way to achieve the same ends then. This is something that is not discussed much around here (but a topic that I have engaged in at other sites though).

Sense. Make it.

Is there more or LESS security for Americans across the globe because of what's gone on in Iraq?

Think about it before you answer.

A price WE must pay? I dont think so.

Iraq is NOT our concern. WE did not have to live under Saddam. Iraqis did. Thus, Saddam was THIER problem. Not ours. There is NOTHING honorable or noble about this war, its GARBAGE. The bull# that the Iraq army was capable of destroying the coalition forces is just that: bull# propoganda you have bought hook line and sinker. You hold on to an illusion that this war is ok, when it comes clearer day and day that it was a HUGE mistake.

Iraq is not our concern, America is. And our economy is choking. Jobs continue to become lost more than they are created, international markets are kicking our ass.

This war has NOT preserved a standard of living, it has NOT made us any more safer: Americans are in more danger than they ever have been before. We can go nowhere without hatred directed at us. Our standard of living, freedom, security, and future as a country are in jeapordy because of this administration.
