This is interesting, yesterday Hillary Clinton was out on the election trail saying down with the terrorist and support Israel.

Now, today her hubbies former CIA chief is saying that the US should attack Syria.

Newt is out there saying it's WWIII, Iran wants to kill all Jews!

The UN's security councils agreement on NoKo this weekend?

The Saudi's yesterday supported the IDF responce and condemed Hamas and hesbullah?

I am like what the hell is going on ? Am I still a sleep, pinch me.

As violence continues to escalate between Israel and Hezbollah terrorists in Lebanon, the former head of the Central Intelligence Agency says the U.S. should now take military action against Syria, which, along with Iran, is believed to be backing Hezbollah.

Looks like the IAF has been gearing up for a strike for quite some time.

"They have the capability to strike Iran," said retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney, a former fighter pilot who has trained with Israelis. "It would be limited, though. They could do 30 to 40 'aim points' in the array. I'm not worried about them hitting the targets. They will suffer losses, but they are capable of doing it."
He said Israeli fighter pilots are "the best in the world. I've flown against them. They train better. They get more flying time."

Don't you think that times were a bit different then? I mean Iraq didn't even make an attempt to even strike back after that happened. For believing them to be such a threat to israels security shouldn't they have went to war in retaliation? They were weak. I dunno if Iran is as weak and unprepared as Iraq was then.

The retired pilot called Iran's air defenses "1960s vintage" and not as good as the Iraqi defenses that Israeli pilots avoided in 1981.

What could Iran do? They don't have deep air strike capability (they'd never get past our air defense in Iraq and the Persian Gulf if they did), nor do they have pinpoint missile capability... So do they start lobbing missiles indiscriminately like their Hezbollah lap dogs? Might be a short campaign if they do, I doubt if Saudi Arabia, UAE, Yemen, Jordan or Egypt would be too happy about that.

Then who'll stick up for Syria?

The Iranians have a (fresh) defense pack with Syria. If it's attacked they will be compelled to help or become a laughing stock and loose all influence in the area.
