So who are the good guys?

Okay, now I've heard all sorts of things about sinister forces within the gov't of the United States.
I have also heard that there are forces of good within the gov't as well, and that there is a war of good vs. evil.
(incedently, I was told that this good vs. evil struggle is the sole reason why the sinister forces haven't assumed total overt control of the world)
So, where are the lines drawn, exactly?
Who exactly are the bad guys?
(and don't just say the nwo or illuminati, because that doesn't clear it up)
But more importantly, who are the good guys?

I'm not as educated as some in dealing in this subject, however, my curiousity has gotten the better of me.
I would appreciate any of you who have extensive knowledge of this subject, please help me.

I don't know what you have heard about this "epic good vs evil struggle," but in my opinion, it is probably bull#. Any argument about "good" sides versus "evil" sides are inherently wrong, since good and evil are completely subjective and ambiguous terms. For example, the people that I might consider evil may believe with their entire soul that their actions are toward the future betterment of humankind. Even "sinister" seems to be too charged of a word in this case. I would agree there are greedy, selfish, manipulative, decieving, downright assholes, though. That, in my opinion, would constitute an "evil" person. I would say some factions are less greedy, selfish, manipulative, and so forth, but their primary concern is for me, myself, and I. As for those "good guys" in government," I can't think of any. They are few and far between - they are those lawyers and politicians and businessmen that stick to the principle of public service, of the common good and the welfare of humanity, and are not misled by deceptive or "the ends justifies the means" mentality. They are generally not the guys that exert any sort of power, it seems.

Actually, I agree (to a point) with your view on good and evil, in fact, I absolutely believe that those terms are primative and totally subjective.
But in all seriousness, I didn't start this thread to talk about philosophy (although, you seem like a good person to do that with ).
I'm just asking because this is how the information was passed to me.
So I figured, just ask around on ATS, maybe there's some truth behind it.

Anytime wu kung, I enjoy talking about conspiracies. Perhaps there is such a thing as good and evil forces detached from the reality we know, but I haven't heard anything about this struggle. We'll have to wait and see what other posters have to contribute on the issue.

By posting this I am neither affirming a belief in the idea of a New World Order nor denying such, I am an impartial observer.

From my understanding, the NWO seems to be a term coined for the idea of an ermergance of a One World Government, which will be dictatorial in nature, there is ample evidence to support this, however, if I wanted to, I could pull some ample evidence from the 1100's to support my theory that the Earth is in fact flat. Whether or not this is part of a grand Satanic plan is not my place to say, as I have no idea, personally I think its just done in the name of greed and profit.

Some NWO researchers claim it is the United Nations, some claim that it is backed by Freemasonry, or the Illuminati, they claim that every element of government is infiltrated by these Satanic slaves who are slowly but surely directing global society the way they want it to.

Personally, I believe the most plausible theory to be that it is fuelled by the International Bankers, as these are not actually federal reserves, or government banks but private enterprises who print money, and then charge the tax to civillians, therefore, debt is always increased to these elite banking families, and it can never fully be repaid because there is never enough money to pay for the loan.

For example, I borrow 100 dollars off you with 5% interest, I have to pay you $105 back, but if that $100 is all the money that has ever been created, how am I able to do this?

So these private institutions actually own the various world governments behind the scenes, and the New World Order will come when the debt has reached such a level that it is no longer profitable or nessacery to maintain the illusion of freedom and democracy, at which point the elite bankers will step forward and say "you now owe us so much, we own you." or, society will have collapsed to such a level that they will step up and say "only we have food and can promise your safety, please line up and be microchipped, we now own you."

If I believed this, and if I had to place a bet, I would bet on the Rothschild's, if you haven't heard of them, do some research, theirs is a truly amazing story of behind the scenes financcial manipulation over the past 200 or so years.

I am no prophet, I am no world affairs expert, I am merely an average person who became intrigued with conspiracy theory/fact, and this is the most plausible theory for a New World Order in my humble opinion.

Its based on Greed.

Louis Even of the Canadian Social Credit party (60s-70s I think) published Money Myth Exploded a while back. Althought I dissagree with its solution, I think they illustrate the point you made above very well.

It is all opinion.

Take the whole One World Government theory. There are so many different versions, you'll find people who think those creating the "Government" are good and those willing to fight against it our good. It in honesty, is nothing more than your perspective on the issue.

Dr. summed up some of the various theories very well. I just want to add some family names that I have heard as well, don't know if they're somehow linked to the other bloodlines: the Warburgs, Shroeders, and Morgans. Paul Warburg was actually a chief architect of our Federal Reserve, which is the Central Bank of the United States in everything but name. I believe the Shroeders are one of the top financial families in London, which in turn has been a financial center of the world - at least, until financial institutions have begun to transcend national boundaries. And the Morgans are said to represent the Rothschild interests here in the United States. There are definitely other family names, but I can't think of any more; I believe the royal families of old are still behind-the-scenes players: the Merovingians are an example, I believe.

I don't know if any of that article is truthful, but it paints an interesting picture of the nature of international and domestic politics in England and Europe. This may reflect part of that "good vs evil" theme that you heard of, wu kung; the article describes a factional conflict between the alleged descendents of Jesus Christ, the Merovingians, and the new families of the international prestige, the Rothschilds and crew.

What if Bush is a good guy because he is trying to destroy the American Economy through debt causing the entire world economy to collapse thus destoying the power grip of the international banking houses grip upon the world and it's people.
The crashing U.S. dollar will cause a sell off of American reserve currency therefore waking people up to what's going on?
OR this is being planned to get rid off cash causing a system built on electric credits where we have to take a chip?

If the ultimate answer lies in Greed, then I would want to further discuss what Greed actually is.
Does it have a life of it's own?
Will it always exist and if so why?
Is it Human nature to desire the most power?
Are there two kinds of people, those who crave to dominate through power and those who are humble and require less to be satisfied?

It seems that religions portray this issue in the ultimate fall of The Brightest Angel who wanted to be like God and was kicked out of heaven and came here to rule (or something to that effect) This seems to be like greed, wanting to be the ultimate authority, the most powerful of all. And if you can't be the most powerful you can instead worship the most powerful which might be a safer bet than trying to beat the most powerful. I can understand why the drama keeps playing itself out, but it is really time for a new script wouldn't you say, cause this old one seems to keep replaying like a stuck record to me.
