I know this isn't ATS's fault, but I thought I'd bring it to the powers that be's attention.

"ANWER FOR A FREE XBOX 360" should have been, "ANSWER..."

Surely a company who cannot even spell 'answer' isn't capable of giving away a "free" xbox 360...?

Secondly, the following ad banner is complete spam. You click it and it installs some crappy spyware on your computer while you think it is innocently scanning your hard drive for "threats".

The banner is linked to the following url:

media.fastclick.net...

(I strongly advise you not to click it!)

While I fully understand the need for ads towards site revenue, surely a malware installing ad will not be tolerated?

Out of curiosity, what malware did it try to install?

Damn spammers. I swear I do not comprehend why such tactics are not in some way against any law.

Anwer ........ lmao, ya, there's professionalism eh? lol

Sorry to hear that xeroxed88, some people never learn. :shk:

Never Ever Click on one of those obviously hokey ads

And of course, run a thorough spyware/virus check regularly.

Mechanic 32: Aye, those ads are a pain, but I didn't click on it... I just know from past experience what they do to your computer.

Timeless Test: LMAO! 70% off?! Wow... I might go!

NoNik: I don't know the name of it but it's the one where you ALWAYS get a small window pop-up (even when you aren't on a website) that says something like, "Your computer is at risk. Your computer is running dangerously slow, to stop this, click Scan", or something similar. If it happens to me, I'll get a screen-pic for you.

okay, I was under that impression because of the way your first post was worded. I knew you were a little sharper than that.
