British MI5 agent reveals secrets.

Former British MI5 agent David Shayler betrayed a life-long duty by leaking secret documents on national security.
Shayler's trial foe three offences under the official secrets act began on monday 28-10-02. He is accused of copying 28 sensitive files containing 250 pages while he was in the secret service.
Prosecutor Nigel Sweeney QC said: four were classified top secret and 18 secret."
It is alleged Shayler, who arrived at the Old Bailey magistrates court with girlfriend Annie Machon, gave them to a national newspaper. He denies disclosing documents and information. The trial continues.

He had a webpage but the powers that be have removed it as of 3 weeks ago. The is another man that has a page with a lot of the original page on his page. Try doing a search with his name or go to rense.com and do a search there.

Anyone else think its unusual that Annie Machon basically did the same thing: if she hadn't broke the law then then her many articles surely have: and yet he went to jail, she didn't, he is now very mentally ill and screwed up, and she is doing just fine. As she is a non screwed up ex-mi5 agent, she can reveal things about the security world and nothing happens.Her new role means that she is effectively untouchable: she can take the moral high ground. Seems like a little too well crafted. A cynic would say he has been well and truly shafted.
