Iranian made artillery rocket Fajr-3 and Fajr-5 have shown Iran's military capabilities. I like to see your opinions about them. Another with the same name is Fajr-3 IRBM MIRV.

Mehran, I'm not too sure where this will lead, but there are those in the Intelligence circles, so called Middle East Specialists who have today come right out and said that Hezbollah cannot possibly be armed with this missile system or rocket technology that has the ability to strike northern Israel.

Yet, it was one of these long range rockets or missiles that struck the train station in Haifa - unless of course the Israelis did it themselves.

I am a little concerned about the Thumbs Up icon on a post labeled “Israel’s worst nightmare”. Concerned, but not shocked coming from the author.

Its funny: Israel is attacking Hezbollah and their supporting infrastructure as best they can, and in the mean time Hezbollah (Iran, Syria) are INDESCRIMINANTLY launching UNGUIDED rockets into Israel with the hopes of killing as many civilians as possible.

And you make a post to celebrate the Iranian technology they are using to do that.

Disgusting…

I'm sure he shares our horror on seeing Iranian missiles being used to blow up Israelis. And before anyone points out that the Israelis are using US missiles to blow up Palestinians, the Palestinians need to understand that when you continually fire rockets at people, sooner or later they will shoot back. At least the Israelis are trying to be selective with their targets.

As for the Persian rocket developments, I say bravo, you have been making some admirable technological advances with your weaponry. Unfortunately, your scientists then have to hand them over to a patently unstable government who gives/sells them to anyone who hates a) Israel or b) the USA, or c) the west in general.

Then you wonder why everyone gets so concerned about you acquiring nuclear weapons - there's a mystery huh, especially if you are developing rockets with a (cough, cough) MIRV capability.

The first attack on Haifa was pretty damn accurate. right into the rail station.

Another proud moment in Iranian history: Dead Israeli's at the hands of thier technology. It will be short lived however.

another proud day for americans over 100 cuvilians killed in leb and hundreds more in the west bank and gaza
dead cuvilians by their technology

same can be said about the US weapons and people praising them here since they are used to kill hundreds of innacent cuvilians in leb and gaza and west bank, also in other countries

its funny how israel is suppose to have great weapons yet it has killed countless hundreds of innacent people over the years.

ps before anyone brings in Israeli casulties its less then a fraction of that of palistiains and lebonease

As far as I can find, there are *NO* IRBM systems capable of MIRV. Are you talking about the MLRS system? If so, that has NOTHING to do with MIRV. That's just a bunch of basically unaimed rockets fired from one launcher. I say "unaimed" because most of these systems are too small for any kind of GPS or guidance, and rely on arc of flight like a mortar round.

Didn't Iran test a ballistic missile a few months ago with a range of 2500km and multiple warheads?

I saw a video of the multiple warheads impacting on the ground i think it had 3 independant re-entry vehicles/warheads.

They tested a missile that can POSSIBLY have a MIRV system. The problems with an IRBM and MIRV is that your warheads are going to be pretty small. You're only talking a missile a little bigger than a Scud.

One word in that post caught my eye and spoke the truth, Disgusting. Best way to desribe people like Mehran and how proud they are about Iran having the POSSIBLE ability to do harm to Israel. But Iran won't fight Israel, they will go to war sure, but no doubt America will act to help her ally in wartime, the same war we fight together and destroy Iran. Is that what you want Mehran? Really now it confuses me, do you honestly think you can defeat America? I am not trying to say oo America is so great we can take on the world! but when you praise the weapons of terrorist, terrorist that is your country supports then I will feel no shame when watching the news reports about Iran being bombed. What goes around comes around. If terrorist wouldnt have kidnaped ISraels soldiers those innocent people would still be alive, way to serve your people Hammas and Hezzbolah, true men of god.

im confused i read people about preaching about how Iran supports terrorists when their goverment funds and arms the most in the world?
do you guys actuily think straight or is it the fact the US has its own sets of rules in which its pardend.

Iran supports a resistance just like the US did
in some eyes they are terrorists some freedom fighters

for the rest of your reply look at your own country first and the death it has caused before preaching to others,

whats goes around comes around works for all not just Iran

PS i know this reply wasnt directed to me but after seeing such ignorance i couldnt help my self replying

also for heavens sake use the enter key its well confusing to read your reply

Typical response.

So we should go by your line of thought, which would be because America armed Israel, which is the only reason they were not massacred after their founding, we should allow all terrorism? Because they are "Freedom fighters" for a few radical Islamist they should be pardoned from international war regulations?

Of course, I forgot, because they are the "Oppressed" people, they cannot help it, they cannot fight conventional war so they don't need to follow the rules. You don't win wars like that, it is a messy business and if we continue to be weak and allowing militias to push us around, worrying about what little insignificant states in europe feel about it, we will never end this war.

Even if you do not support Israel, I do not see how it is hard to say the terrorist, i mean "Freedom fighters" tactics are just as bad as Israel bombing infrastructure. Israel may kill civilians but not on purpose, Hezbollah does it intentially.

Funny how these brave "freedom fighters", err terrorists who have so bravely blown up innocent people for years in Israel are suddenly so oppressed and have to ask for UN intervention to protect them from the big bad Israeli's. Let Iran go ahead and put a gun in the hand of every arab in the middle east and ship their inferior short range rockets Israel would still mop the floor with all of them even without US help. Israel is a small country and these "technologically advanced rockets can't even make it across the country. I'm sorry but North Korea can atleast shoot a rocket over 60 miles. We should just leave them alone like Bush is doing and let Israel clean the whole area out.

But on a more politically correct note:
War is wrong and we should work to eliminate it from the world. Both sides have done unspeakable attrocities to one another and the only way to move forward and end the multimillenial blood fued is mutual forgiveness.

Typical anti-US bashing. Do you also blame the Russians when terrorists use AK-47's to shoot women who have the audicity to ride in the front seat of a car? What about China for the blades used to chop the heads off of innocent reporters, or perhaps the Japanese for making the camera that filmed it? This is a ridiculous and short-sighted post, I can't believe I even took the time to respond to it.

I'm sorry RockPuck.. THIS is disgusting..
Kidnapping soldiers is not an act of terror.. They are soldiers.. They are not in a peaceful area/time period..

Killing 100+ civilians for getting back 2 soldiers is absolutely preposterous..
Nobody's saying those soldiers are worthless. But they're soldiers and this is not a war. At least it wasn't so far.

The UN needs to get an international force into Lebanon asap..
And if the US vetoes any resolution calling for the same then I'm for a unilateral international force there to prevent Israel from carrying out raids and to carry out house to house searches for those soldiers. Israel can paricipate in the international force if it wants to; under observation of course.
An international force will solve everything:
no Israeli bombing, no rocket attacks, and a better chance of finding the soldiers..

Lebanon won't object.

C'mon people.. lets use the UN for what it was formed.

The killing HAS to stop..
