Does anyone know or heard about photo-editing program that lets you print out a picture in sections so you can put the sections back together like a puzzle and make a poster?

Adobe ImageReady has the ability to create 'slices' of an image, though the function is primarily for web design and assembling large grahpics. It might be worth checking out.

There are lots of programs that can do it if you know how to work them that way.. I will name a few that I have that can do it:

Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Pagemaker
Adobe In Design
Adobe Photoshop
Corel Draw
Corel Painter
Quark express
There are many others, but those are the ones that I have and use that I know work.

The GIMP, a GPL free software, working on Windows and Linux.

It's a GPL program so you wont have any problems of limitations or registration.

I think Macromedia Fireworks 4/MX can do that.

But yea... The GIMP will probably do it, plus it's free! long live the GPL!
