It is time to make a new forum

We all know that if the situation in the middle east continues like this we are gonna have a world war so i propose a new forum concerning all the events that will lead to world war 3.I know that i am going to be pounded by peace loving people but c'mmon wake up guys.NKorea had to test its missiles on this month so did the increase in tension with india and pakistan over 7\11.It's time that you make a ne forum and that forum would soon replace the war on terror in the near future.I hate to say this "# just got real" this month.

Theres a middle east forum on pts. I think its a bit soon for a ww3 forum,it's not kicked off just yet.

when WWIII kicks off , are you really going to stop and log on to ATS to discuss it ??

You could start a 'WWIII Watch' forum.

But I think a lot of that would be repeat links from PTS and from
the latest world news forums.

And I agree with Ape .. When the nukes start flying no one is going
to be on ATS discussing it. I am of the opinion that we are in WWIII
now .. but it just hasn't gone nuclear YET.

Its not gonna be pretty, seriously think of the enormity if a world war did start.
Its not like it was back in the second world war.

Just a few days ago the Middle-East Conflict forum was created to deal specificly with what is going on now.

I suppose it could be upgraded to WWIII forum if the nukes start flying, But like others have said, I doubt we'll be online much if that happens.

I too agree with FlyersFan and Ape--with all due respect to this great site, I can think of a few better things to do during a World War than seeing what someone else thinks of Bush's bad hair day. Aside from that, while I'm sure the conspiracy aspects of it would be there, I think they would probably be less important than discussing the actual details of the war (which would most likely be more suited for PTS). The conspiracy issues would best be held until after the fact, when there might actually be something to accomplish and more of the details are known.

A bit off topic, but this is something I was wanting to ask earlier: could we actually sit down and say "This is a world war now."? I mean, (although I doubt many members could remember) back in WWI and WWII, when did they say "Okay, this isn't just a police action, or a little skirmish between a couple of countries now. This is something big."? Is there some gauge for it, like there needs to be X number of countries involved, or X number of casualties?

Just curious...

i think you are right . there should be a special place for debating middle-east and ww3 problems because all forums debating on things that are somehow related to the middle-east wars are turning to a mess with accusation from both sides not based on evidences and researches.
it's begining to become like all the chats we see on other forums

i assume i replied to some of these posts , i had to , sometimes they oblige you to do that.

i think that (in forums like these) posts should be blocked if points are not well justified

i don't know how can you do this , maybe we'll have a forum to have suggestions.
