HI , while out walking scott this morning i noticed some very unusual air traffic in the skies above me

the location is Clitheroe , Lancashire , UK [ 53 52 24 N , 2 23 42 48 W ]

here is what i saw , all in the space of 90 minuites , from 05:30 , to 07:15

PS -- a disclaimer the aircraft types quoted were aporoximations of size , type and confuguration , intended as a guide only - i could not make any positive IDs

sighted were : flying N >> S

2 " PIPER CHEROKEE " - flyying at < 3ooo feet

1 " LEAR JET " exec jet .

2 " SHORTS 360 " commuter turboprops

flying S >> N

1 " PIPER CHEROKEE "

1 " LEAR JET "

all at altutudes of 5000 to 7000 feet

these sightings were more light aircraft than i normally see in a week

the " normal " light traffic is army and RAF helicopters flying E >> W and the obligitory lancashire police service helicopter chasing chavs .

have flight paths been re drawn ??? i have tried looking up on google , but cannot find anything relevant
.

i am more curious to know if i am now under a new mid altitude air corridor , and so can expect some photo oportunities ?

so aircraft experts , tell a ground pounder whats going on
