This is one of the many questions asked here of the Brethren and about membership in the Fraternity.

I received an email with this article this afternoon. Perhaps it will answer a question or two for those inquisitive enough to read it.

To me, quite possibly the most striking passage from the article:

Freemasonry is loved by men because it strikes deep into the human heart, and supplies the answer to the question, the food for the hunger, which the tongue cannot express."

With the craft set up in a way much like a tarot used to be read different by each, the truth is still there that it is in deed a study of truth or light. If being honest with ourselves you could say the answers of many things involving creation,god,afterlife etc are answered. God being a great mystery and when you start to find out this mystery, like all things in life we mock god there for you have the mystery of masonry. The main attraction.
