WOW those designs are way ahead of todays times


How cool it be to for one of those to enter production !!

Surely, planeman would be interested in them.

here is a direct link to a scale model mock up of the proposed design - Is it just me or are the rotors flushed with the body like some of the rotored / winged proposals from the USA?

Looks really nice what ever they are.

Yes GSA, I remember seeing s sikorsky proposal from the 1960's for a sort of convertiplane strike aircraft that had a rotor that folded away and lay flush to the top of the fuselage for high speed flight.
