Hi guys, I need a really good, yet concise definition of what the NWO stands for, what it means to the world and its plans for the future.

If there is a thread that does this can you please point me to it. Thank You.

This thread started by the FSME Infinite discusses what the NWO is:

However, it breifly covers it as a way of introduction.

I think it is a good idea to discuss the topic anew.

As far as I can tell, the New World Order starts as a book by HG Wells, wherein a futuristic socialist world state is created as a utopia, Wells was writting in favour of such a thing, the books intent apparently was to promote the idea (I haven't read the book myself though). I don't know if the phrase existed before Wells.

The Nazis were opposed to a New World Order. After their defeat they were seen as having to tried to create the New World Order.

That should show just how malleable the term is.

Bush the elder of course, famously, stated that we were at the threshold of a "new world order", however, lets keep in mind that that was after the fall of the Soviet Union, the world had been bi-polar, and was now uni-polar, Bush the elder seems to have be refering to that and how the world's geo-strategic power structures would naturally change because of this.

For along while people in the far right thought that the UN was going to abolish the US Constitution and destroy national boundaries in the creation of a global state with the UN at its head.

Today many people think that the far right and people like Bush the younger are the ones trying to create a New World Order by becomming dictator of the US and then using the US as an enforcer of his global policies.

The Illuminati are deserving of special note, as it was said in the original Church created propaganda against them that they wanted to "destroy all nations and religions", which is essentially what the NWO is seen as by people on the right.

I'm new the forums so I can't really point you in the direction of any huge threads discussing it, but I'll give my two cents:

The "new world order" of our era, I believe, is a transformation of the international ruling class into the transnational ruling class, that class being composed of the elite of the international bankers, firms, corporations, etc. Those in control of the wealth is adequate enough of a description, in my opinion. This newly formed class has the goal of changing the world into two classes, with them on top as creditors and the rest of the world on the bottom as debtors. The American Empire has been a useful tool in the past century, especially lately with the neoliberal policies that encourage countries to open up their markets to international finance and loans. I see the IMF as an institutional arm of this ruling class - ever consider that much (if not all) of the so-called Third World is indebted to the IMF?
