ok, I never believed in any of this stuff and i have always been the type of person who looked for facts only. But this i cannot comprehend...plz take me seriously

About 1/2 a year ago I have read an article in a russian newspaper that talked about a Brazilian prophet who predicted such things as 9/11, Araphat's death and the trunami, among many other things. It said that his predictions are very exact, telling the date of the events and describing them. They are also proven to be true, as there is concrete evidence of the prophecies being told was before they actually happened.

I found that article quite interesting but i didnt not trully believe it. It also said that there will be a huge earthquare very close to the islands on the west side of Africa, which will cause a tsumani many times greater than the one in 2004. The waves will be over a hundred meters tall at would wipe out the majority of the cities on the coast of atlantic, including rio de jenero (mentioned it because he is brasilian) and new york. A huge portion of Europe would be damaged too.

I didnt wasnt sure if i should believe that or not so i desided to see if another of his predictions would be carried out- italy winning world cup. When he was asked if Brasil would win fifa, he said no, unfortunatly that title would go to Italy. I was following fifa very closely this year, and now that the prediction actually came true today, I am really scared.

I do not remember the name of this person, but after today's soccer game, i know this guy is for real and ill try to find information about him online. I ask that you help me find out more about this person and also discuss this information.

I don't want to burst your bubble. But Italy has been one of the odds on favorites for winning the World cup for over two years now.
I also predict at least three major earthquakes before the year 2011. However I'm not a prophet. I read several scientific journals on a regular basis.

Most of the people I told that Italy would win said "no way, it will probably be Brazil or some other country". It will also not be a regular earthquake, the waves from the tsunami will be 50 meters tall in New York, much higher in other places, it will be many times bigger than the recent one. Also, we predicted many events that could not be explained by science magazines, like 9/11. I would like to know more information about this person, maybe his name so I can get his book.

Actually, zikan, I remember something about the Canary Islands, a group of island off Africas west coast. They are very steep, and in risk of collapsing. If they do collapse, they may enter the water below in such a way as to cause a rather large tsunami to travel across the entire Atlantic and hit both south and north America.

I also remember something like this happening in an isolated Alaskan bay sometime.

I found it hard to believe myself, but even a cliff 250 metres high or so and a kilometre long all falling into the ocean at once kind of wedges the water up, causing powerful and large tsunamis.

I guess we'll jsut have to wait and see.

Massive Earthquake in 2011. Prelude to the prophesied End Of The World in 2012, perhaps?

Is there any linkable information on this prediction? I know the OP stated he read it in a newspaper, but is there any other information available regarding this?

Geez, I can hardly wait! Too bad if it is true, though. The first true prophecy, will be the last that anyone ever witnesses.

Everyone sing along with R. E. M. "it's the end of the woorld, as we know it......"
*sorry, could'nt help myself*

Since when were Italy odds on favourite to win the world cup. That was one of the least likely events. Putting their domestic scandals to the side it's been common opinion among the footballing community that the Italian team that won the world cup was one of the weakest for years. Brazil were clear favourites in everyones eyes. The second favourite was England. Then Argentina and such. Italy were never odds on favourite.
And I hate it when people say "I don't want to burst your bubble..." because they clearly do. You go home and read your scientific journals you putz because you don't know crapolla about football.

I don't consider myself psychic or a prophet but I've successfully done both, and I got the testimonial on my sig. That one including my prediction of Italy being the champ of 2006 in the world cup at the beginning of June.

OK Dorothy, I'm a putz and you are free to believe all of the, self ordained, so called psychics that make predictions about things that are clearly in the realm of possibility.
I take it Italy was not your choice. I'm no expert on football. But I can read real statistical data. That data does not always agree with the pundits. Don't be so angry.
My point is that these were not predictions that would be considered far fetched.
It's like saying the escalating war in the Middle East will cause gas prices to rise and that this will have a negative effect on the U.S. economy. That's not a prediction. It's a statistical possibilty. Or the the case of gas prices, a probability.
Calm down. It's only a Discussion Forum.

services.inquirer.net...

"The so-called deadly quake, which has been circulating in e-mails, blogs and online journals, was reportedly predicted by a 47-year-old Brazilian teacher, Juseleeno Nobulega Daroose."
