On Bush winning for the first time in '04:

1.Bob/Gazrok - do you mean via fair square? If so, follow this stuff man! He only wins against the fringe guys who aren't anywhere near the nomination! Hell, even Dick Gephart beats him!!

2. The 2000 Replay - now you're talking, and I'd put his chances at 60% in this scenario. The whole touch screen voter kiosk thing is making me piss blood, the whole lack of daily fires being set against the contracts for voter tabulation being awarded to Bush Pioneer level contributors and it being spun the way it is.

In a fair fight, everyone & anyone could whip him...he's retarded for Bejjebus's sake!
In a nefarious corruption of the American Ideal - no one is dirtier in the history of our country than the criminals in there now.

No doubt about that...he's a grade A moron...but he'll still be re-elected on sheer name recognition. I'll bet that if you went up to 20 random people on the street, they'd be hard pressed to name even ONE democratic candidate...seriously...and that's just sad...but it's true...

Voting for Bush is like deciding to get rid of your used car, to buy another used car... The problem is, at least with him, you know what you've got...with another used car, there is no warranty, and you're not sure what you're getting...it could be even worse.

This isn't my mentality, (I will not be voting for the dolt), but it is the mentality of many I believe....*sigh*

...but I've heard too many of our elderly slam him too regularly; I tend to have a Eastern reverence for those older than me because I look at life as a gauntlet - the winners are on the North side of the dirt. If he does not have them, in a fair fight, he's screwed.
Also, let the campaign media spots start happening - Clinton was an unknown, nationally, until crunch time.

But BT:
You know Rove will remind the old folks about Bush and his prescription drug program/entitlement. and will probably use Ed Kennedy's support of it as ammo.

Gaz's used car analogy says a lot. Bush will have to start doing some things differently to get even my vote. Sadly, the other used cars on the lot all look like big lemons. And too bad we only have cars to choose from, I'd like to see a train, perhaps the 'Straight Talk Express'

lets just hope the idiot is removed from administration....bush is by far not fit to be a leader..any1 up for confronting that?

is this the man representing america?? the best the U.S has?

no offense, my feeble 2:am attempt at making a point

this man needs to be removed by any means necessary...a sheer embarassment, my cordial respect to those few left-wing opposition leaders who none the less protest.

Is it possible that Bush and his staff refuse to leave the Whitehouse at the next election

They won't have to...

1. There isn't a single Dem who looks to be able to win against him.

2. Even if one did, our votes would simply be ignored like last time (i.e. Gore was elected according to the popular vote)...

The good news? At least Harris is in Congress now, instead of overseeing elections....(BTW...How the hell did that happen???)

are you constitutionaly ignorant? i know you arent. popular votes dont win you a presidential election. your point is moot.

what do you suggest now? rewriting the constitution because you didnt like who got into office?

two words: sore loser

IF he wanted to buy an election with a lot less heat he would have done so in a much more clever way than choosing florida as the state to have the final say.

everyone who keeps suggesting that he stole it are a bit delusional. the best laid plans are the ones most of you sheeple never catch on to. ever thought most of this was done on purpose to divert your attention? ever thought making him out to be an election stealer was done on purpose? good grief!

you all can pound sand up your asses and stay ignorant for all i care.

Bush was the first appointed 'president' in a Supreme Court appointed state, no longer a Constitutional Democracy.

Events of the next twelve months fall into the "wait and see" and "only in America" category.

The second quote most recently used by Arnie, capping of his own incredulity after his Kalifornia acceptance speech.

I get so tired of those who don't read the rules of elections for the State of Florida at the time of election. Read the rules before voting.

Especially you foriegners who don't even have a vote.....go beat Tony.

From Jurist.Law.com:

Just read the Palm Beach County ballot instructions that were mailed to each registered voter: "After voting, check your ballot card to be sure your voting selections are cleanly punched and there are no chips left hanging on the back of the card."

If you're not sure who to vote for, just vote "No Confidence"...That means that *nobody* gets your vote (Unless they decide to rig the results with those highly-suspect electronic monstrosities anyway).

When ive been voting here i have most of the time voted "blank" but i now realise that by doing that you more or less vote for the biggest party in the country. Thats because you dont help other partys to get your vote. If you dont like your President or Primeminister vote for any party but not blank....i know, most partys sucks but vote for the one you dislike the least.

Alot of people in this world dont have the freedom to vote and i think the people who can do it, should look into every party there is and then i think you have the right to complain. If you dont vote i dont think you have the right to complain!

I dont mean this personally Midnight, just in general..

Don't buy into the media spin! If the voting machines aren't rigged - which they may well be - Howard Dean CAN win! (and I've never voted for a Democrat in my life)
He's the best hope.

They're in the process of it. The disturbing thing is that the owners of the companies (like Diebold) are die-hard Republicans/big donors to Bush. This should send alarms off from all corners of this nation.

LOL!

They all answer to the same masters anyways!

The difference is that a republican still respects a white man in his own country while a democrate hates himself.

That's why I like Bush.

Also, the republicans saw a future with the US as major players rather than just one seat in the UN. I thank them for that.

With all due respect, you should put down the bottle and get over your star worship. California's gonna sorry they ever elected him.
