I will tell you a story, and then you will decide.
I am french call me Ren and I was born in the 70's, I spend most of my holidays in south of France, where i was working in a supermarket for pocket
money. A fat, grayish short hair, long barb guy, with always a cap on was going to a supermarket almost every week in a town close to the Provence (i
won't tell the name don't even ask). I didn't pay attention to him for a long time. This guy had a strong English accent. I am a big fan of the
doors and one day I was wearing a T-shirt of Jim Morrison famous pic when he has his arm wide open. Anyway, the guy look at my shirt and had a little
thing, not a smile, just a little thing with is mouth and his eyes. Another time I was smoking a joint in the back alley, and he was passing by. I
hide the joint, and he looked at me with a smile. But the important time arrived later on, when a day the shop was closing and this guys wanted to buy
some alcohol (the cheapest whiskey in stock actually), anyway, I let him in, and I had a small chat with him. I ask him if he was a fan of the doors
as well, as I notice is face about my t-shirt a week before. He says "not really but it reminds me of good old times" His voice was familiar to me,
and I start to have the feeling that it was Jim Morrison. I said that is funny, actually you look a bit like him. He smiled, he told me he was from
the US, but spend most of his life in France between Paris, Aveyron and the Provence and told me other stuff that i'll keep for myself only, sorry.
After, closing the shop, we kept on talking for maybe 10 to 15 minutes while i was smoking a joint, he did not smoke at all but he said that he use
to, however he was drinking directly from the bottle. He told me his wife died a few years ago, and her name was Pam. I started to be really
surprised, and then I dared asking if he was Jim Morrison. He answer " No, Jim Morrison died in July 3 1971, it was written on your shirt". I
laugh, he took another sip of his whiskey, and say that he had to go. Just before living he add, "anyway, even if Jim Morrison was still alive,
wouldn't you rather remembering him as a legend ?".
This guy name was Jo, and died in 199X from a generalized cancer and is buried in a small cemetery south of France next to his wife pam. If it was him
then he had to organized his own death and also the fake death of Pamela. It could be possible, but I can't tell.
Today I still don't know for sure if he was him or not, but I assure you, to me, Jim Morrison died in July 3rd 1971 anyway.
