If you could see me right now ... oh man am i red with laughter..

I dont know about you but i've been a pretty big jim/doors fan since my early teens. I think jim was one of the last true poets of rock, and probably contender for best frontman ever. extremely misunderstood, and misrepresented(see oliver stone biopic) for those of you who don't know the legend of jim's death, it was genuinely mysterious, maybe one of the few overlooked death conspiracy's there is. He aledgedly died while living in paris of a drug overdose (he hated needles) and no one but his long time girlfriend pam, and a coroner that only left a signature, saw jim's body before it was sealed away in a casket. Jim himself talked about faking his own death and in fact had said that he would live in paris or jamaica as mr. mojo risin'. an anagram for his real name.

that said, i must point you now to this peice of steaming blasphomy. those of you who are aware of both jim's story, and what he looked like should get a kick out of this claim:

www.rodeoswest.com...

oh man.

"Death makes angels of us all and gives us wings where we had shoulders smooth as ravens claws..."

jim morrison.

Kinda looks like him, I'll give them that. But where is the DNA evidence, and considering that this would be a HUGE story, why haven't I heard about this elsewhere? Surely E! or one of those government kiss-ass media stations would be eating this up. Either way, they give me rock hard evidence that that is the one true Jim, and I'll believe. Till then...I don't think so.

yeah, I would bet my cat that this isnt jim. and i love my cat. if you look at the website it's obvious there has been some legality in this, but for now the goon is still allowed to profit over jim. if you have any true appreciation for the man this thing is an obominaton, period.

Like thousands of people attended Elvis' funeral but only 4 are said to have attended Jim's. I believe that all are long gone. Jim said he was going to fake his death to some of his close friends and he carried it out. The autopsy doctor never spoke on the matter.
The rest of the Doors will not view any documents that Gerald Pitts sends them including videos of Jim available at www.rodeoswest.com and Ebay. The DOORS of the 21st Century scheduled a concert 1 hour away from where Jim lives in rural Oregon and then Ray Manzarek didnt' show up. They cancelled. Why?

This is the JIM MORRISON. There is no doubt about it. The famous rock and roll and Beatles writer R. Gary Patterson (Simon and Schuster/VH1) has recently signed on to work with Gerald Pitts and Rodeoswest to break this story wide open. The Vacation band recently received the Discovery video and have contacted ALICE COOPER who opened for the Doors in the sixties! John Densmore, the former drummer of the Doors has even called Gerald and confirmed that it was Jim Morrison.

It is a catch 22 though. The famous people are not going foreward with the truth until they get permission from the corporation that they are under contract with. The corporations are NOT giving permission until they land exclusive rights with Gerald Pitts and Jim Morrison. Jim Morrison is NOT giving exclusive rights to anyone ever again.... The cat chases its tail, the saga continues... at least now the people who loved Jim know he's still alive.

I'm sorry. The thing is, i know a bit about Jim morrison. He is forever inbedded in me. his image, his words, his music, his vibe. And the guy on that site is not jim. Now if you have truely been fooled by Mr. gerald pitts, that is a shame, and i hope you didnt spend to much money on snake oil. otherwise, if you are just working for him or, more importantly, ARE him...shame on you. I've seen you on other forums proclaiming the same thing, and you seem to be the only one who believes this nonsense. The john densmore that has contacted mr. pitts certainly is not "the" john densmore (see official website), and the fact that no one else has bothered to be involved just goes to show you that it's not even worth comment. In other words it's so obviously fake that there is no point. This guy is a vulture picking at the already desecrated "bones" of jim. may he be shot by an elvis impersonator.

Hey Tasteslikethunder,
If you really thought JDM was a great poet and liked him, you would have made an effort at researching rodeoswest.com before making your last post. You lifted your bottle before you lifted a finger to turn a page. How very noble of you. I'm new here, but I think that belowtopsecret is a serious investigative site. I'm glad you brought up rodeoswest.com, but just because something seems too great to be sure does mean that it is not.

Well, it seems that Morrison sightings have been going on since shortly after he died in 1971. He has been alternately described as living a secret life in Louisiana to being a mental patient in San Francisco. Here is a link to an essay about all these sightings and the controversy and possible conspiracy swirling around the Lizard King.

www.carpenoctem.tv...

Personally, I believe he is dead. It's sad as I was a big Doors and Morrison fan myself but it is what it is. Morrison and JJ and Jimi and Keith Moon and Duane Allman and all the rest of those great rockers of the '60's who died young and tragically left us wondering what it all was for and where we all were heading, ourselves.

Still, I get as much pleasure now listening Doors tunes as I did when they first released their first album...and it's still Jim singing all the songs; in that way he will never die.

I don't know if this in in the artical, but I know a little something to add if it isn't.

About a week before he 'died', him and his wife were at this cool grave yard that attracted attention for varieous reasons. He told her he wanted to be burried there. (this, a week before his 'suposed death'.

Well, a week later, they go home (or to a hotel, I'm not sure which). She says he got up in the middle of the night to take a bath (ok?). She claims she heard his 'last words': "Pam, are you still there?". She says later she found him dead in the bathroom.

Well - then she gets on the phone to find "the cheapest box". Not a grand coffin, a 'cheap box'. Well, the next morning his agent comes u running. He wants to see the death cirtificate. She don't have one. He wants to know the name of the doctor who called his death - she can't remember the guys name. He wanted to see HIM inside the 'cheap box', but she said nope - it was already nailed shut.

So, they had the 'burial service'. 4 poeple, and a 'cheap box'. The box was put in the ground without so much as a prayer said. No grieveing people - nothing but putting the cheap box in the ground.

I sould also mention here, that he'd said many times over the last 6 months or so that he wished he could 'come back' as an annonomous person and live a normal life - where people didn't know him.

My dad met him in Paris in 1973. Every body laughed their arses off at him when he said he had met him in a side street cafe / bar in Paris. He was just sat chilling and smoking with two women (So my dad said) and when my dad said 'merry Christmas Jim' the guy looked up, smirked, paid for his stuff and left (in no hurry, just left).

the story is dragged out EVERY christmas time..... I could never EVER face my dad again if this really turns out to be the real J morrison.

In a nutshell, I would be well and truely PWNED by my dads told you so's!!

if this is him....well....

Yeah right,..... :shk: and I suppose pam is right there with him. :shk:

If that's jim, he sure looks good for 63 years old!

Some people will do anything for a buck.

Besides,.... isn't it against the law to fake your own death?

I'm sure the CIA, or atleast the IRS would have been all over him like flies on a turd for the 35 years of back taxes.

Now if someone told me that dude was Jim's son I might entertain that thought for a few seconds.

"Out here we is stoned immaculate" Jim Morrison

There were some issues, I believe (this is just what I heard - Ill search and see if I can find somethign) that there was talk of MOVING Jim's Grave, from Pere Lachaise. Due to the Vandalism, and littering that has been going on there since he died, in 1971.

**searching**

Okay, from this website, it looks as though they've just hired more security...instead of moving his grave - some issues with the lease.

Back to the Topic at Hand...

I don't believe that man is Jim Morrison. Simply Put. No. His cheekbones, were something I am entirely fond of, and this man, simply doesnt have the same cheekbones lol

And, not to mention, he's wearing sunglasses in most of the pictures, so its difficult to see...We need a whole face. A close up. Sunglassesless.

Who knows ..

However, the older Jim certainly has the same nose which sweeps to the right in photos

The jaw bones are virtually a perfect match

The mouth is very similar

Check photos of anyone else (professional compared to ordinary if possible) and see how time/age can change a person's appearance over how many years ... close to 40 ?

If it's not Jim Morrison, there sure seem to be a lot of very close similarities

I will tell you a story, and then you will decide.
I am french call me Ren and I was born in the 70's, I spend most of my holidays in south of France, where i was working in a supermarket for pocket money. A fat, grayish short hair, long barb guy, with always a cap on was going to a supermarket almost every week in a town close to the Provence (i won't tell the name don't even ask). I didn't pay attention to him for a long time. This guy had a strong English accent. I am a big fan of the doors and one day I was wearing a T-shirt of Jim Morrison famous pic when he has his arm wide open. Anyway, the guy look at my shirt and had a little thing, not a smile, just a little thing with is mouth and his eyes. Another time I was smoking a joint in the back alley, and he was passing by. I hide the joint, and he looked at me with a smile. But the important time arrived later on, when a day the shop was closing and this guys wanted to buy some alcohol (the cheapest whiskey in stock actually), anyway, I let him in, and I had a small chat with him. I ask him if he was a fan of the doors as well, as I notice is face about my t-shirt a week before. He says "not really but it reminds me of good old times" His voice was familiar to me, and I start to have the feeling that it was Jim Morrison. I said that is funny, actually you look a bit like him. He smiled, he told me he was from the US, but spend most of his life in France between Paris, Aveyron and the Provence and told me other stuff that i'll keep for myself only, sorry. After, closing the shop, we kept on talking for maybe 10 to 15 minutes while i was smoking a joint, he did not smoke at all but he said that he use to, however he was drinking directly from the bottle. He told me his wife died a few years ago, and her name was Pam. I started to be really surprised, and then I dared asking if he was Jim Morrison. He answer " No, Jim Morrison died in July 3 1971, it was written on your shirt". I laugh, he took another sip of his whiskey, and say that he had to go. Just before living he add, "anyway, even if Jim Morrison was still alive, wouldn't you rather remembering him as a legend ?".
This guy name was Jo, and died in 199X from a generalized cancer and is buried in a small cemetery south of France next to his wife pam. If it was him then he had to organized his own death and also the fake death of Pamela. It could be possible, but I can't tell.
Today I still don't know for sure if he was him or not, but I assure you, to me, Jim Morrison died in July 3rd 1971 anyway.
