Call me crazy or close minded if you feel the desire, but my thoughts about aliens have always been the same.

Why would a race that would have to travel millions of light years to reach us, simply observe for hundreds or as long as thousands of years, instead of taking over? They obviously want something from us if in fact they have visited on numerous occasions. What is their hold up?

I'm not saying the people didn't see something all those years ago in Germany, but I just question the motives for aliens to continually visit, kidnap a few people, release them and then leave. If they have the technology to wipe us out, why wouldn't they just do it? Or just take what they wanted from the earth?

Unfortunately, we only have ourselves and our own motivations as a basis to go on here...but how are we to know the goals/motives of a truly "alien" intelligence? They may think COMPLETELY unlike we do, and have far different ideas of even what is or is not sentience... Who knows what they've seen in the Universe, or what their basis of comparison is?

I guess I'm just trying to say that although their motives do not seem logical to us, because we're dealing with (possibly) a completely alien way of thinking, we can't simply ignore the visitation evidence because it doesn't fit into our neat little ideas about what alien motives might possibly be.....

That is interesting would be good to do some research on it and see if there are any other mentions of this event throughout historical texts.

At that time, was it well known through-out the world that Earth was indeed round and not flat, becase falling down and turning to steam, sould just mean that they disaperaed beheind the horizon?

I find the burning house in the bottom right quite interesting. Looks like it got hit by a couple of falling spheres and cought fire.

That would indicate a real physical phenomenon instead of mass hysteria or something alike.

Because there are many ant farms, and many boys and girls who like to watch.

Don't assume they are the same one, group or species. They come and go, some like to watch, some like to do a bit of experiment.

Civilized human don't go hunting no more, they don't kill animals no more. I suppose aliens are more civilized, they don't come and hunt or takeover for a fun.

But they just come and go, passing by, holidays and do some mining perhaps.

The noble one protect us from the one who claimed themselves god in bible. Those bad gods don't want to kill us, but they want to produce more of us using cloning techs and then control us using religion.

This and another event in 1566 in basel, switzland. Possibly the two are related. Also, upon chonicling the 1561 event, the nuremburg gazette described numerous occurenced of solar and lunar eclipses, as well as other "celectial phenomena" occuring prior to this event. Perhaps the nuremburg and basel incidents were only part of a much larger event.

Of all historical accounts this is fascinating. We have documentation of the event. We also have a type of craft, the ufo orb and the cylinder that are commonly seen to this day. As a witness to ufo orbs and a cylinder type craft I find this account to be a real event.

Hey guys, I know this thread is kinda old, but it's nevertheless important to clear up with you something that came up to me yesterday.

This event DID happen, some 'debunkers' just can't let go, can they?

ONLY, everyone who thinks those are UFOs needs to seriously reconsider his approach in searching for alien visitation "proof".

Those are just what they look like... FIREWORKS!

Heard on a radio that in the 16th Century, Germans had the first fireworks going off in Europe, fireworks which were invented around the 9th century in China, as a derivate use of gunpowder...

It immediately clicked in my head (makes way more sense than aliens coming all the way to the Earth to battle in front of humans), on this one no doubt possible.

BTW I'm not against UFOs, I just think today's UFO are human hidden technologies, and that if there are aliens (that's for sure un this huge universe) that visited Earth (much less sure, but that would explain the missing link) they haven't been here in a long time although they're probably monitoring us in a way. +I can't help but think of a 'harvesting' stuff going on with 2012.

Hello all , I am new to the site and stumbled across this link while searching for info on spear ships and wanted to pose this question.
For many years , I have had dreams of ships fighting in the sky overhead, the main ship that is there is a spear like ship>
In my dreams I am standing in the same place below a large hill close to home which overlooks a large field. Having never discussed this with anyone I mentioned it to my youngest brother who eerily started telling me he had the same dream of standing in the same place and watching the battle as I was in my dream.

I know some of you will dismiss this, but has anyone else experienced such.

Nuremberg is an account of ufo orbs and a good one at that. These things really exist, call them foo Fighters, willow the wisp, star of David, ufo orbs, whatever, these glowing balls of light are out there and I've seen many like those in my avatar. Fireworks, lanterns, marsh gas, birds, are not going to account for the incredible amount of evidence going right back to Nuremberg.

Unfortunately fireworks make a lot of noise and none is mentioned in the report of the event and we are talking the sighting taking place over a few hours and that takes an enormous amount of fireworks. It also does not explain the big black arrow-head shaped ship.

The descriptions they have given are seen to this day. There is even photographic evidence of cylindrical, orb and arrow shaped UFOs (triangles!)

Heres another strange account from 47 years later:

You should add that one to the medieval UFO thread as well. It certainly is very interesting an actually gives much more credence to the current sightings as well.
