Thats interesting. the only thing im wondering is...what is your point? i dont mean that to sound rude or anything. i guess i just dont know what you are trying to say by posting this. are you trying to prove the validity of nostradamus' quatrains or are you trying to say there is something sinister about putin...i'm just kind of wondering what your point is for posting this. could you clarify it a bit for me?

also all orthodox use the julian calander not just the russian. the only difference between greek, russian, serbian orthodox, and orthodox church of america is the culture stuff like style of singing and the language spoken during the service...to accomidate the culture. doctrine, practices, worship are all the same. just wanted to clarify that for people who may think that russian orthodox is something seperate.

Interesting details about Putin that I wouldn't know about...I realize Putin is an incredibly intelligent person and has great potential....with his background and all, if he ever had the means to do something....

My point is...

Nostradamus X-72, a quatrain with a specific date,
was fulfilled. But since the date fulfilled was Julian,
not Gregorian, most people would have missed it.

Tsar Vladimir is the powerful king in X-72.

The USA is the powerful seat of the NWO beast.


Putin is a Man of mystery.

Often He appears to be just another puppet of the NWO,
but this is a ruse. He is biding His time... rebuilding Russia
and becoming more and more powerful... His moment to
stand up against the NWO is near.

Incidently, I think the NWO had sinister plans for Y2K,
but Putin taking power on Y2K eve spoiled those plans.

I agree that USA is at the front of global empirialism, no doubt in my mind.

But I also think that in the not so distant future, China's economy and industry will surpass the USA, what will we have on our hands then? Will that be allowed to happen? I wonder.

Tieing Putin to the "king quatrain" is interesting to say the least. I have pondered that quatrain for some time(literally years and years now).

I had actually (back before 7 /99) thought it referred to a terrorist action by Osama that was to occur. That was (totally) wrong. So I felt it was probably a bunk prophecy.

Your theory however seem to make sense. I'm gonna go check out the link you posted below.

i agree that Russia is just buying its time with china. they are caught between a rock and a hard place. china wants to expand its territory into the parts of russia that are currently not being inhabited due to climate and economic problems and of course russia doesnt want to be invaded. putin also wants to keep his ties with the united states...because we kind of control alot of things atm as everyone knows.

so they feed things to iran etc behind the united states back to please china, so they dont invade and take russian land. so i agree with your premise.

I have also heard of this happening, but as to when, I dont know.
I know that Russia is in Prophecy about resurrecting Tzarism, and after that, the world will supposeedly end, Antichrist will show Himself....and then Revelation begins to show itself.

ive never really disliked the guy, i think he is highly intelligent. He just does things in a mysterious manner sometimes and so therefore i find him a bit creepy, and unnerving.

considering im undergoing the process to become orthodox after being raised a lutheran, i should look into this stuff a bit more. although, i do approach prophesy that is outside of the Bible with a lot of skeptism, people can be such fanatics about end times stuff. and i think nostradamus'prophesies are so vague that they can be interpreted in many different ways. but this one is interesting.

Yes, you are correct, do appraoch much 'prophechy' with skeptisism......for many prophecies have been written, and many claim to know about the end of times and such.
We dont know the date of things to happen, but we do know that the end will come.
Being a 'fanatical' Christian is not what our Lord God is about.
We are told to ''Watch and pray (Matt. 26, 41)and have our mind set without 'wordly cares', I know this sounds difficult to do, but we all at many times occupy our time with wordly cares,
eg/family, children, and money issues being the first of many things.
I guess we must have our 'Faith' in trusting God and never Give up .
We all 'FALL' but we must always ' Get Up' again, over and over..............The Lord said, ......

"Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth" (Lk. 21:34-36).

Yes, but what I would like to know is ,is this claim 'valid' within the Orthodox Church?
Has this been discussed among church elders?
Have you discussed it with a priest or a monk?
I'm not going against you, but speaking from experience, I would like to know what others you have spoken, to about Putin being in the Tzars seat?
Did you get that information from another web site or work it out yourself?
The reason I ask, is that I have heard it from others,that speak of Putin being in that Future position, but I have also heard that he cannot be, because the Future Tzar has to come from the Lineage of the Romanovs?
