Former Judge Donald D. Thompson, a veteran of 23 years on the bench, is on trial on charges he used a penis pump on himself in the courtroom while sitting in judgment of others.

I read the news on the net every single day and am rarely surprised at what I read. Once I got beyond the disbelief I got a chuckle out of it.

These are the guys that are supposed to be our peers and moral guides..

Can you believe he,d be more concerned about attempting to enhance his floppy parts than deciding the fate of so many people brought before him,,

You do realise that this is gonna cause a huge amount of convicted peeps to call for a mis-trial in the event of his conviction

Perhaps this judge is confused? Maybe he miscontrued the phrase "long arm of the law"?

Really, it does show that we are being judged by our peers. Here is a case of a man who has been caught up in the sexual insecurities that plague so many men today. Sexuality and eroticism and the pursuit of pleasure has become the goal and driving force of our culture. Too many men equate the size of their penis with their own sense of power, competency and identity. Just look at all the Viagra ads on the media and the spam on the internet. This judge's use of a penis pump while on the stand is a demonstration of this.

You would think that a judge could mete out justice with an eye for equality but, instead, for this judge at least, equality is based on size.

Nahh. They're just "referees" in place to keep order in the room and rule on matters of law. If you're looking for truth, justice, or certainly morality, the courtroom is probably the very last place you'll find it.
