AIDS Cure.

I have heard that they have a cure for aids now. A friend of mine knew a guy that had supposedly been cured of aids. What was this cure? Nothing more then a less than lethal dose of house hold bleach. I will do some more research on this topic and try to get to the botom of it. Please give me some insight if you have heard anything about this.

Typically "I had a friend who knew a guy" stories are almost always false.

And I would sincerely doubt house hold bleach would kill off ALL the cancer cells in a body. It would probably just kill you first.

So if the guy is dead, I guess he was cured of aids, right?

um yea if you take any dose of bleach... note to self... bleach is a toxic chemical. so i doubt a toxic chemical is the cure.

just did a little googling on this, mixed results, I suggest you do the same and read for yourself, but it would seem that bleach is a good preventive message for stopping the transmission of the HIV virus when used to clean syringes and is targetted campaign message for IV drug users. Some other sources suggest that bleach may be used in trying to formulate a cure since it can effectively kill the virus outside of the body, however I don't believe that would constitute that there is a "cure" yet.

We actually had a grand round topic on this a few weeks back. There has been very little sucsess in even getting close to a cure or a vaccine for this disease for a variety of reasons. Ingesting or shooting up bleach in anyform will simply guarantee you a trip to the emergency room or a date with your mortician

All treatments to date work by either stopping or killing the virus before transmission can occur ie: condoms or clean needles or simply keep the symptoms at bay ie: AZT etc.

The only reason bleach is good to kill the virus on the outside because it acts as a sortof very toxic sterilizer. It breaks down chemical bonds and such. But, you know, so does alcohol, and high pressure steam cleaning.

Well it is very possible that this story is false...but I just wanted to see if anyone else knew a little something. I should do the research for myself but...I'm a lazy bum. Thanks world for that little tid bit.

Hell, its no problem, Its an interesting subject, something I'd like to look into, though scientifically speaking, bleach would do more harm to you internally then the cells.

Please do not inject your self with bleach - It will cure you of AIDS, but it will also cure you of life. As a Nurse with 5 years experience of Critical Care, I can assure you that the corrosive nature of bleach will strip you clean within minutes of injection. I once had a young patient who had attempted to commit suicide by ingestion of just over three bottles of bleach. Not only was the patient in very seriouse medical state, but also presented a very real danger to all the staff involved in the resus attempt. Intubation was impossible due to the horrific burns to the mouth and throat and on every chest compression bleach was forced into the air as aerosol - The end result was an agonising death which traumatised many members of staff for quite some time.

Please do not inject bleach into yourselves, its not healthy or wise.

As a proponent to natural selection, maybe we should suggest them to infact inject bleach into themselves?

I'm thinkin' along the same lines...

Any you guys heard about Vikings (Norwegians? I remember the term "viking" being used in what I read) supposedly being immune to HIV/AIDS for the most part?

I've read about a couple cases here and there about people who have supposedly been explosed to the virii numerous time without infection. Most recently, I remember reading some article about decendants of Vikings being pretty much totally immune.

Injecting yourself with bleach will definitely kill any HIV in your body. Equally good treatments are jumping off a cliff and putting a loaded shotgun in your mouth and pulling the trigger. They all work so well as HIV needs a living human body to survive in, and will die very quickly without it.

Death is generally considered a side effect that should be avoided however.

I've not heard of the "Viking" connection before, but certain people do have an immunity to HIV. Although I think they do provide useful clues to researchers from what I understand they are of limited use in finding a vaccination or "cure" as they are essentially genetic "freaks".

Bleach can not cure a person of aids, the very suggestion is absurd. If you drink bleach, its not going to filter out into your viens, as bleach, and 'sanitize' your blood.

So will hydrochloric acid. I wouldn't recommend drinking it.

I'm not sure about all doctors, but the one here that most of the people I know go to doesn't prescribe AZT anymore. I know a guy who just started treatment and doesn't take AZT. What he takes is Sustiva and Truvata. Neither have AZT in them. Just to clear up the "AZT causes AIDS" theory...which is wrong.

But this thread is about injesting bleach. DO NOT DO IT. I have also heard that hydrogen peroxide kills HIV. Maybe this is what the OP ment instead of bleach. I have heard anectdotal stories of people curing themselves with low doses of peroxide, but I still wouldn't recommend trying this without at least checking with a doctor first. Peroxide is toxic as well.

Who? know's for sure freind- i think that if they did have cure, it would be made public, only because they could make billions on the cure-making many people rich!!!!!!!!!!!! peace

The flaw in the reasoning here (besides the stupidity of injecting bleach in general, and I am not saying that the OP is suggesting people do that or anything), is similar to the flaw in homeopathic "medecine".

The key phrase is 'doses low enough to not be damaging/leathal/etc'. If the dose of bleach isn't high enough to kill your own cells (even if not kill the whole person), then its not going to be enough to kill the HIV virus, I shoudl think.

Bleach will alter the Ph levels in your blood to a level that would cause certain cell death. Your cells and the HIV cells. So no, bleach in any way shape or form should not enter your blood stream or gastric intestinal system. To say any thing else is very very dangerous.

Oh and one thing of note, in malawi there are prostitues that sleep with infected HIV carriers on a daily basis unprotected and do not catch HIV. As soon as they stop having sexual contact and repeated exposures to HIV they get infected from the very last exposer they have had. there is conjecture over what or how this is, but it appears that multiple strains fight for dominance and do not infect the host - It is the last exposure that causes the infection of these ladies...Very very strange but you can find more on the net and in medical papers.
