I dont mean the bull# metal... like... disturbed, drowning pool, papa roach, creed... or any of that mainstream #.

Im talkin Mastodon, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames, Meshuggah, Maiden, Opeth... Kreator

My reccomendations are ENTOMBED, Pissing Razors, In Flames (great live!), Converge, Entombed, Pantera (Great Southern Trendkill was great), Cannibal Corpse, Slayers old stuff is amazing, December, Decapitated, Entombed, The Dwarves, Zeke, Entombed, The Dillinger Escape Plan and Dave Grohl's metal project Probot is actually looking promising.

Drowning Pool were possibly the worst band of a bad bunch that came about when metal was in fashion for awhile.....

Sorry, I can't get into disturbed. They are considered metal, but I see them as hard rock.

Entomed isnt bad... over here in the states, my friends and I have dubbed them, "Chainsaw Metal" we love'em.

Chainsaw Metal, now that sounds right I suppose Pissing Razors would be in that class too.....

i say Arch Enemy video on Scuzz (english Music channel) i thought it was excellent. I think it was called " we will rise"

yeh i really like Opeth, and dimmu borgir. I probably listen to more punk than metal though. Cannible corpse is good if you are feeling deranged. Earthtone9 of course. they were evoloutionary metal.

If you guys get a chance... I highly recommend a local metal band out of Atlanta. They are my old buddies, band is called Mastodon. They're on relapse records and completely destroying the metal scene all over the world atm. Chec'em out if you can.

New to BTS and where do I find myself. Metal topic. Up here in Alaska I have playing(loudly) Arch Enemy, Soilwork, In Flames, Annihilator, Iron Maiden, Slayer etc............ Actually I only play them one at a time. Does give me an idea though!
