DragonSlayer!

They are finally releasing DragonSlyer on DVD. I signed a petition along with many other fans... over 3 years ago to have this movie released on DVD, you can thanks me! haha. If you havn't seen DragonSlyer, I highly recommend it, as it is one of the best fantasy movies ever made. It was ILM's second movie... the effects are great, plus it features dragons and virgins.

Definately on the top of the Fantasy Movie list IMO. I'll have to check out the re-release of it. I have a copy of this I taped a while ago.

Is there any added material or scenes in this release?

I will second the motion that everyone interested in Top Quality Fantasy Movies need to see this one!!

Hmm, I've never seen or heard of Dragonslayer before. Speaking of dragons and dumb princesses, how about Reign of Fire? Was that a load of crock or does anybody disagree?

Well, yeah, but the movie still rocked to us dragon fans, hehe... We would have smoked the dragons early on though... Unique premise, and great depiction of dragons....

Dragonslayer had Peter McNichol as a young sorceror's apprentice, who gets tasked with slaying a dragon. It's pretty well done, for early 80's sword and sorcery...and is a RPG gamer movie classic, hehe...
