When lets say virgin or whatever other company that is working on taking ordinary people (with lots of money though) into space. Im sure this is still a ways off, but do u think they'll:

(just examples)

• make them sign some kind of contract to keep them shut.
• Even allow them to take cameras.
• Will this thing even have windows to observe space. (id hope so if there gonna be paying out of there asses.
• im sure there are a bunch of more examples those are just a few

Ive read here and there that ufos always seem interested in the shuttles whenever they are doing there thing up there. so how will they avoid.

I personally hope this will open up something new. maybe more believers.

Or another, probably likely scenario

- There is no intelligent life visiting this planet so there is nothing to cover up.

I don't understand what you mean by "keep them shut" Please explain...

Of course why woudn't they? Have to be a small one though... weight restrictions and all that... none of this tons of suitcases the American tourist hauls around the world.

Most CERTAINLY. Look back at past space flight history. Nasa had to develop a special material tough enough to withstand the vacumn of space because the early astronauts insisted on a window or they wouldn't fly the damn thing!

References please. Where did you read this?

I think Nasa will give you a ride in the shuttle, I believe the cost was $500,000.00 but I will have to check on that.

But I am not sure what taking a ride on a spaceship in near earth orbit has to do with "covering up" Aliens?

That the stories of Shuttle UFO encounters are more hype than real, and astronauts have no better chance of coming across one than people down here...

But i do see one other situation that will conflict...
Military ops in space...

I have seen shuttle videos where they came across sattelites that were not listed, and were "secrets" of some country (probably ours, or we would have heard more)
and since they often use the sam launch windows, and similar orbits...
there is a chance of that...

but as you said... long way down the line... the first few years, they will only be going into low orbit (which some planes can get mighty close to anyway) so observing anything from that orbit, would be about the same chance as high altitude planes have.

I think a case could be made that there is no inteligent life here on Earth either...

Oh wait... The dolphins... I forgot about them for a moment

That is one scenario i Definitely dont think is true. theres too much footage from nasa alone that proves that idea wrong.

Well basically they have to sign something that if they see anything thats not of this world they have to keep there mouth shut about it, or they face being put in jail or whatever the government does.

Sorry, the nasa vids do not prove any idea wrong. Some people say they see ships, others say it's ice particles, etc. Hardly proof my friend.

Thought thats what you meant, but you really must be more specific to make your point clear. I have to assume you mean Aliens or more properly Alien Spaceships as I doubt if even Aliens can survive in space, but to state that "they see anything thats not of this world" is very misleading. If you are in a spaceship in earth orbit or further out, is not EVERYTHING iyou see "not of this world" except the planet earth itself if your looking back on it?

Im sorry for not being totally specific, but im here at work and cant fully divulge my time to writing everything.

I would have to agree with that. Besides Nasa spends a LOT of money on high image quality cameras. Just look at their website and the Hubble telescope images.

Its also unlikely that Aliens are making daily trips here. I mean just think of the gas wasted
, not to mention the time involved. We are just not that important. [Don't get me wrong I don't doubt they exist or have been here]

And never forget that our own government makes some pretty cool "unidentified flying objects" that are capable of some amazing feats. The stealth fighter was flying over our skies for years before it was declassified. This is just one obvious example.

[sensfan, you might get a kick out of this one, being a Canadian... the stealth was displayed at an militaryairshow near Toronto almost 2 years BEFORE the American public had it revealed
[have autographed picture signed by the pilot to prove it...[funny end to that story... when I moved here to Vegas I find this same pilot is now an instructor at Nellis AFB]]

Theres too much footage from nasa alone that proves that idea wrong.

I wouldn't say "proves." There are some unusual things found every once in a while on NASA videos, the stray bit of junk floating by, odd things. But if any of these have ever been proven conclusively to be associated with intelligent ET life, I guess I must have missed that news flash.

The Russian space agency Roskosmos will put you into space for $20 million on their Soyuz craft but NASA isn't in the commercial space flight business yet.

At least one person has done it.

I don't know in answer to the original question, they might make you sign some release form to keep your confidentiality. If they did that would raise serious suspicions over what exactly is going on though.

As the customers of Virgin Galactic will be from around the globe, any confidentiality clause wouldn't be globally binding and therefore useless. Besides, the publicity generated by such a form would only confirm that there is something to hide. This would be rather counter productive.

On the other hand, Virgin Galactic are in it for the money and if one their customers managed to photograph an undeniable image of a UFO the number of people who could find the £50,000 needed for a flight would multiply by thousands! Think how many people would sell their houses! Virgin wouldn't be able to build their ships fast enough! So a confidentiality clause wouldn't make commercial sense.

Why is it when someone posts a topic like this, instead of working with the idea thats posted, people come out with guns a blazing sarcasm hell most fish don't know there in water till someone comes along with a worm and a hook and yanks them out

When are these space launches expected to happen?

I have no doubt in my mind that if the governments of the world would want to put a stop to it, they would do it in the most publicly violent manner possible to cease public interest. Such as a staged launch disaster.

In 2008 I believe, with Richard Branson and his family on the first flight. The ship is based on Spaceship One which recently won the X Prize.
