Yeah, I practice a martial art that I dont think you will be numerous to know here : KRAV-MAGA (Much respect to the one who can tell me where it's from).

And you guys, any martial art ?

krav maga means Touch-combat
, it is used by the israeli special forces, anyway im into kickboxing and combat-Sambo

Took some Ninjutsu back in the day....a bit of Shotukan Karate.

Don't do much now....mostly read that Bruce Lee book...Tao of Jeet Kune Do.

Same here, though many moons ago...practiced a bit with pressure points too...ala Vulcan-style, etc. (though I can only put them to ground, not knock them out...) Still useful though, and fun with the kiddies, and big dogs....

I practice Kudokan Judo. Its great, especially when you try to show your mates the new throw or holding technique you learned! They all back off pretty quickly! LOL

i do kick boxing as well or at least i wish i could do the proper thai kick boxing instead i do the american one
or rather Gary Harrisons American stylr KIckboxing i'm a green belt i would be a blue belt but i missed my grading cause i was on a school trip to china

Holy Moses! I was gonna post a thread asking if anybody was a martial artist here! Well, I've done mainly kickboxing and karate, plus "a whole load of stuff" and now I'm doing Kung Fu. Always good to meet fellow practitioners.

Jeet Kun Do is a very nice martial art. Cuts out a lot of very silly nonsense present in other martial arts! A lot of emphasis on grappling and takedown followed by floor work... very useful stuff indeed.

Taekwondo & Thai Boxing for last 20 years. Also done some Kyokushinkai Karate, Aikido, Hapkido, Jiu Jitsu and the good old Marquess of Queensberry rules Boxing.

Shotokan karate (purple and white belt)

Also CALM trained.

Its a form of restraint used by police and mental hospitals...anyone else trained in it?
