OMG!! You guys goofed!!

You should add a Video Games section to BTS! You have tv, comics, chit chat but no Video Games. That should definately be added. Anyone else with me on this. What do you think?

Sonic 1 for Genesis is the game that got me into the world of gaming. I still remember the "Level Select" code: At the title screen, press "Up, Down, Left, Right, Hold A and press Start".

AAAAHHH... those were the days...

Lol you must have a good memory to remember a cheat!

I remember playing sonic 1 and doing a cheat to get all the crystals or something... You did one bonus round, then reset the genesis and it came up with the next stage... Can't really remember

Oh sorry FULCRUM...

I thought Genesis was the name for it in the US, so I used that in case people didn't know what the Megadrive was, lol.
As a lot of people here seem to be from the US.

While Nintendo ruled over the rest of the planet. Sega conquered Europe with the 16-Bit Megadrive. It wasn't pretty- a matt black slab of plastic that was eerily lightweight- but it had big-name developers lining up to bring their games to its plasticy cartridges. Again, The Big S had a hefty line-up of popular coin-ops to convert, and its sales meant a boom time for gaming. And with the release of top titles like the Sonic series, Mortal Kombat series and the Ecco series it gradually broke through in America and began to dominate.

I think I may have my Megadrive in the loft somewhere... But I have an emulator on this computer of it, so I am never without it, lol. So many great titles.
