At precisely 9 seconds in this video, you can see two things happen.
(1) The top of the tower, above the impact hole, starts to buckle.
(2) The part of the tower below the hole starts to bulge outwards
slowly.
It then gives way before the whole tower collapses.
Where's the explosion? Explosions happen in milliseconds. In this *closeup* video you can clearly see the structure of the tower give way under the
immense stress.
O, PS: you can't hear any explosion either
