Are they really sure

Okay Zarqwai (spelling) is dead. I have a good question here. I heard that they(whoever) has confirmed DNA (is that correct?) now have they confirmed fingerprints as yet? I was told off basically because interpol has not confirmed fingerprints. I always thought DNA was more accurate anyway. Interpol is not the top authority on this any more than anyone else. But have any fingerprints been confirmed. I'd like to shut this guy up (my idiot brother in law).
Any help or links would be appreciated.
