The Hills Have eyes< could it happen

Could a situation like the hills have eyes(if youve seen it) nhappen? I like the movie and just womdered if that could happen. I( think it might be able to, but not likely.

1. ...there are people in a deserted town who could have survived a nuclear bombing test after hiding inside the mines.

2. ...there are people in a deserted town who could have survived the nuclear bombing test and also survived the painful and usually deadly skin diseases resulted by the radiation.

3 ...there are people in a deserted town who could have survived the nuclear bombing test and also survived the painful and usually deadly skin diseases resulted by the radiation and kills people who happens to be using the "shortcut".

4 ...you have too much movie. just kidding pal.
