Whaling to begin again!!!

This article has really bothered me in that certain groups and Governments have exercised their right to allow whaling to start up again in the guise of 'sustainable whaling' which in my language means - financial kick-backs to someones pocket.

When will international pressure begin to pay-off in these matters?
I would like to hear members ideas as to how this pressure could pay off in the short tem as well as the long run.
