Just today, doing an Internet search, I found these two urls:
www.2012.com.au...
www.themarsrecords.com...
I only read the intro pages, not much more yet, but I would like to read all of the book when I have the time.

Anyway, I searched ATS and could only find this thread: www.abovetopsecret.com...

What particularly interests me, according to the thread, is that after the military was finished with this man, Michael Rilfe, and his service on Mars, his age was regressed and then he was sent back in time... (of course, if any of this is really true)...so, like none of it ever occurred to M. Rilfe.
If this is accurate, then several questions come to my mind:

1. In most cases of people abducted by aliens, from what I've learned recently, the abductees are returned to their earthly location with "time missing", though the abductees memories of the actual alien visit have been erased (if taken Wednesday night, from for instance the living room, the abductee may be returned to the same location, the living room, yet on say Saturday morning--however, the memory of passed time from Wed. night to Sat. morning is completely missing, the interim time of course when the abductee was present w/ the aliens).

2. SO...if the technology might exist, to bring an abductee back in time, as in the M. Rilfe incident, then why aren't ETs using this technique??? (would save a lot of hassle for the poor abductees) Maybe it causes two separate time lines (maybe in separate dimensions)...maybe that is the difficulty, I don't know...as the person who started the thread mentioned above, then possibly M. Rilfe's service on Mars never existed...Or, were two separate M. Rilfes "created", maybe that's another explanation?

If anyone has read The Mars Records or has any thoughts on my questions...

Umm....because it's fiction ? Just a guess.

My 2 cents,

Anyone else have any ideas on this?

This stuff always gets to me, time travel stuff, and I'd really love to hear anyone else's opinion or insight, whether on The Mars Records, alien abductions and time travel, or anything else similar...
thanx :-)

If this were accurate there would be many priviledged ones who would not be dying anymore but would be having their age regressed as well. They would create a time loop the same way the aliens do and they would cause you to be born again at basically the same time as you were born before. Picture a straight line. One end of the line represents the beginning and the other end represents the end. To create the loop you join the ends together and the end and the beginning become the same.

All I can say is be careful when reading stuff. People will use their imaginations and write anything to make a buck or to be noticed. Just because it looks official doesn't mean it is. This would make a cool movie on the big screen though

How will we ever know about things like this. It's made so that you can't prove or disprove his story.

some years ago I read both ebooks. while I do not believe it as truth, it was a good read all the same. I tend to read these stories for entertainment value while still thinking about the weight of the story if it were true. Disinfo only works if you are looking for something to believe in.
