UFO Disguise Question

Is it possible that ETs are disquising their ships as general aviation in our skys?

They would certainly have the technology to at least reconfigure their lighting to match that of nav lighting of aircraft. If they have more advanced tech, they could disguse their craft as any general aviation making them invisble in plain sight. This would allow them to go about thier business unhindered by military interception (if they keep radar stealth), and not arouse curiosity from the general popluation.

It could very well be the case.

Optical stealth works in theory and the fact that Humans can prove that fact is all the proof I need to suggest Aliens that could cross between stars could use such tech. IMO it would child play for such a advanced species.

But would they even need such tech or have any reason to hide. It could be like a human trying to hide its presense from a ant. There might not be any need for them to use such tech.

There are alot of people who think so. There are some accounts of what might appear to be a UFO trying to hide its form, or disguised in a way to not attract notice. There are also theories that UFOs could be invisible and have some sort of cloaking technology.

I was thinking what if aliens made use of sonar and echo location rather then optical vision? They might never have develop any optical camo because its useless on their planet.

Its really impossible to rule anything in or out when talking about Aliens

It would explain how UFO's seem to vanish in a blink of an eye.

They might use both cloaking technology and the "hidden in plain sight" technology. It may depend on the species of alien and how advanced their culture is. Its a question of what they use the tech for that concerns us.
