Wow, that's an awesome video. I'm not great at telling the authenticity of a video, but in my mind that video is authentic. Anyway to contact the
guy to try to get the full video?
I also wondered about the beam, that is cool. But since it is both above and below I guess it is reflexes in the lens like that light spot to the
left. The shooter seems to change the contrast.
Looks exactly like a shuttle launch. The sound is just barely audible (if at all). He (or the video camera itself) changes effects a few times through
the film. The beam, as said above by someone, is definately a lens flare reaction (I've seen way too many of those on the ZetaTalk site to not know
my lens flares !!!).
Looked for any reference on the web...found these...
Okay the first beam I can pass off as glare, but the second from below was vastly different, and I have seen no one mention the round object that flew
around it as it rose.
What was that?
