UFO research

About 25 years ago when I livied in California near Edwards AFB (Bakersfield) I was very involved in UFO investigations and aliens and the like. I met an AF majorwho had told me about a couple of sighitngs over the years he'd been an officer. Anyway after a couple of years of staying in touch he called me one night and said he was going to show me photos of a craft as well as aliens that were still alive. We agreed upon a time and date. The date came and he was a no show. Two days later at about 8:00 AM Iwas woke up to someone knocking on my door. When I opened it there was an AF officer and two men in Suits. NO they did not look odd or alien in any way. The man asked if I was who I am by name. When I said yes he stated that my AF firend would not be coming to see me. I told him nicely I had no idea what he was talking about. He told me I should "leave UFO stuff alone". When I said yea sure he smiled and said "You are not getting the message here sir". I told them to get off my porch and " go (censored) themselves". He smiled and said after a few more minutes of arguing back and forth the following statement: You need to understand that there are no UFO's only classified military aircraft" I told him "Bull----". My oldest son (then 3 years old) had walked up to see what was going on. He looked at my son and said very coldly, "cute kid" and looked me in the eyes. I got the message clear and loud. I did try to find out who he was based on his name tag and the plates on the car but there was no record of either. Has this type of stuff happened to very many people. I had heard of MIB's but these were very normal looking people.

What is the condition of your friend? Have you contacted him since? Sounds like a MIB scene without the memory eraser

My father was in the military and he had told me about alot of the things he had seen. He started out as a military ammo truck driver , but was medalled for being a MR2, some kind of classified sniper /marksman. He could never understand why they mad e him a driver when he was so handy with the scope. He told me that there was night's when he would be on run's and he would see thing's that he could not explain. He also had some friend's that were career military people and they used to talk about stuff all the time, I have heard of thing's that have happened to you, but I didn't experience them first hand, but from the people that were, and still are friend's of my family. So, "YES" I have heard of thintg's like this happening to some one, more than once in my life. BTW, my Dad was in the army, so you don't get him confused with being a fly boy.

The one question that I have for you is "Did were you ever able to contact your military friend again?"

I tried off and on for about a year and a half to locate him. The only refernce the AF would give me was that he had been transfered to Europe. I even had a private investigator attempt. No luck. I don't want to speculate on his missing but it was damn creepy. I have not investigated UFO's or anything since then. Well, maybe on a small scale but not like I was.

Did he ever disclose anything to you at all? Any kind of info or attributing stories of his own experiences?

I knew he was a pilot and flew fighter jets for awhile. Then was flying larger cargo planes. The only things that he ever told me (no proof) was that when he was flying a C-17 in his earlier years the bird had been buzzed by a large saucer shaped object when they were over the ocean off the florida coast (gulf side). The other was something he picked up on radar one time. But he also never showed me photos of anything that was unusual or what I'd call alien. He wanted to show photos and he said it was something he knew about but wanted to show them and get them out. Unknown as to how much truth was in that statement though. Maybe his intent was good and maybe it was a pure ruse to get me off of something I was interested in. Unknown as to whether or not he really had the photos or not. I spent a good number of years in the army so I understood some of the garbage that comes out, but I just wish I could have gotten the proof (if there was).

I always wanted to have the proof as well, you like you had stated, a picture or something. But after my Dad did his stint inthe service, he started his own trucking co. and I traveled everywhere with him. We would talk about the world as it is and the realm's of the unknown all the time. On several occassion's he would tell me stories of different UFO sighting's he would have and how the military were usually on top of it pretty quick.

We were going threw New Mexico and we continuously kept seeing this ything in the sky, by the time we had hit Morriority(SP?) there was quite a big ruckess going on about this thing in the sky. We had just stopped to buy some more coffee for the ride a head, well me and my father went in and started talking to the waitress and she said that had been all kind's og ,(what she called) G.I. men for the past 2 to 3 day's almost every day at her resteraunt. Dad just looked around, after the gander, tapped me on my arm and said "Let's get out of here" very sternly. After we had left I had to ask my Dad what was so wrong, the only thing he told me is "You will never hear about that hting that both you and I saw, with our own two eye's, ever in an article of news paper or a TV report, I will garautee you that son."

We talked about that story until the day he died, funny thing of it is , we never did get any other information from any thing with in the media ever. Dad was a pretty intact, self efficient kind of guy, level headed to say the least.

I merely asked a question about people having encounters with "either" MIB or govt. people that make a point known on the subject of UFO's. Was I really on to something? Who knows. Was it a lot of crap? Who knows. I do know that I must have been onto something (?) . I hope you aren't thinking that a question unasked is a sign of stupidity. I rather doubt you are but the "oh really" thing gives that impression. Hope I haven't offended you for my stupidity. but life is life.
