The name Rooivaalk means Red Falcon in Afrikaans.And yes I do like the Rooivaalk attack helicopter,In my oppinion better than anything the Yanks or the Brits have got.

I must agree with you on the Rooivalk.
But hey!, I'm just being patriotic to my wonderful country.

Did you know the Rooivalk can fly inverted?
The elctronics onboard also make it one of the greatest threats to any modern day jet fighter including stealth fighters. It can recieve bounced radar signals from above a stealth fighter and not the muffled signals that are reflected , or lack there of, to a conventional ground radar.

Right on!!! And it's not too particular about fuel either - a drum of avgas, a hand-powered pump and she's happy!

Hey there Rooivaalk! Hope you like it here.

There is nothing over on the Weaponry forum about the Rooivaalk, so you should head over and post something up!

BTW, I always thought the term "Howzit" was a purely kiwi thing! Guess not eh.
