No, you need software to record it and save it.
Google it, your'l get a free trial for something.

ok i dled all the stuff im just trying to hook up the webcam for some reason it isnt working so im going to try and put it in different USB spaces also in the video i might cover my face because i dont reallly want ppl to see me or ill turn off the lights either way w.e u guys want

Do you have a regular camera, you can record for me and send me a copy and I can let everyone know if you can do it

i will keep trying to get the cam to work if i cant ill go to my friends when i can and use his webcam also
