I can't see the antichrist / the beast getting a look in on TV these days. Its too full or repeats! The antichrist would have to squeeze in a spot between repeats of 'buffy', old star trek and mythbusters. I suppose he could always buy some ad time. Mind you, WERE he / she / it to appear that you could whatch it all over again an hour later on a '+1hr' channel.

Personally I'm waiting till 6/6/8 ...THE NEIGHBOUR OF THE BEAST!!!!

As far as the barcode, it's a nice parallel to what the "Mark of the Beast" is: a tag for humans. And this very "Mark" may have already been imposed on our society. I know in NY many younger adults utilize the VeriChip for when they hit up the clubs they don't need to bring their IDs with them.

But back on the subject matter, I feel that this day is more attributed to a Satanic occult worship day. The Anti-Christ will most likey not be present today. However, with a WWIII looking to be a Nuclear Showdown, then I think we'll see the Anti-Christ step in. And what a better place to step into power than like an organization such as the U.N. And it's with that hypothesis [based off the Left Behind Series] that I believe we will then see the Anti-Christ.

Why is everyone getting so huffy about today? YES today is 6/6/06.. but its not like this is the first 6/6/06 ever. Every new century has a 6/6/06 right? What about the past 6/6/06's??? Why hasnt the Antichrist ever reveal himself then and what makes you think he will reveal himself now-- or even the next 100 years?

It has always made me wonder.

The Antichrist is supposedly going to bring about a one world religion and one world government correct ? I would bet that the Antichrist will be from the Bahai faith, since the whole religion seems to based on one world government and one world religion. They are very deeply involved with the UN and openly call for one world government to bring about a universal and lasting peace.

I do not claim to be a "Prophet of God" as I do not believe there are any prophets today. There will not be any Prophets until The Great Tribulation starts, soon after The First Rapture Happens and Antichrist declares himself on world television.

Quite possible. While not devout to any religion I do believe in the great Tribulation and I'm not sure about today but i do have an odd feeling about it.

This has to be the smartest thing anyone has ever said on this site. Satan, you will have to wait your turn like everyone else.
