Im not attacking Oracle, just want some evidence of what we are dealing with, if this is true, then Oracle can take this further.

I seriously think some of this may be a concerted effort by organizations or sites that ATS has had some 'discussions' with attempting to diminish the quality of this forum in particular. I lurked for a long time, and I've never seen this many goofy threads that seem to defy the motto of "deny ignorance", unless my interpretation of the motto is invalid.

One major point I've noticed is the users that support the OP and ask the bizarre questions about 'life', the 'soul', and 'energy force whatz-it transfer', are often very new members.

Did Oracle logoff and Ethereal login?

You do raise a good point. But I only joined to comment on another thread. This one kind of caught my eye so I asked a couple of questions. Only one was answered. The one that was answered, I had already formed my own answer anyway. The second one didn't get answered and I have my own reason why. I, along with the others of this site, could easily attack the original poster. I choose not to because there is nothing gained out of it but personal pride. So please, lets just get along.

so your saying that consciousness ends with death. in the sense that you are no longer aware and this "thing" called consciousness just goes wherever, and that all memories and everything are stored purely in the brain and not in this "consciousness". right?
alright. cool. so a few questions
1)what is telepathy then? how are people connecting to each other telepathically. i dont believe in any of the force stuff, but more of a connection of oneness to everything in existance, and telepathy is like tapping into myself, but since i view the world in parts, it seems like im tapping into something outside of myself by some force of some sort. are people connecting by means of some unknown biological force, is it consciousness interacting and thinking without the body, is it just an illusion like i tend to think, and talking to you is actually talking to myself, and our seperatedness is an illusion
2)what is up with the people who can pick up objects and tell you the history of that object. is that object conscious on a different level. some cultures believe everything is conscious. maybe it is and you can tap into the mind of a rock, just like that of a human. accept a rock doesnt move or talk back like we do, to my knowledge, or maybe once again i go back to my theory of oneness and that rocks memories are my memories. im just not aware, but still. where would an inanimate object store memories if it has no brain. is there some type of "consciousness" that stores all that rocks interactions. maybe consciousness doesnt describe this "it" properly, because we equate consciousness more to walking, making decisions, and blah blah blah. hmmmmmm

there are tons of people out there that agree, disagree, and have alternate theories to what consciousness is, and by far yours is the least convincing for me. i would need you to take some phenomenon and apply your theory to it, for me to understand it better and, well, belive it.

i mean. your information is coming from a species way older than you, more intelligent than you, benevolent, malevolent, and just all around slightly mysterious. so why do you or i have any reason to believe that their word is the truth above all else. if they can communicate with you on your level and they understand the human species up to this point, then they understand how to lie. point blank. sorry to be so pessimistic, but this cliche alien story about cool stuff, implanted useless knowledge, and them being the god and us the children suffering why they only intervene here and there just for experimental purposes, is FREAKING LAME.

Ya I know, it seems every day in the past two weeks or so, there was a new thread from a new member claiming he/she had a prophetic dream, aliens gave the a messege, or the world was gonna end that day.

jimmy, i was a bit confused but I think your asking what makes certain paranormal phenomenon possible? Firstly,Most of the time, humans reading minds is complete BS. Like John Edwards, they use a technique called cold readin. They also bug the show beforehand.

Humans on thier own are not able to just levitate. In the rare cases when they can, ET's are doing it.

The same is true for psychokenisis. No human on thier own can bend a spoon with thier mind. If that does happen, it is because an ET is doing it for them so that it can appear that the person has powers (for what reasin I do not know).

I'm personally running low on mockery. I'm just worn out. It doesn't grow on trees, you know. And the nuttier the story, the harder it is to come up with something even more ridiculous to mock them with.

And cliches are the worst. The whole notion of somebody given special information by the aliens that they can't share or is "too complicated" to be explained is a good half-century old. Look up Adamski and Daniel Fry and all those other scruffy goofballs from the 1950's and you'll get the very same vague information and the same lame dodging to avoid providing concrete, verifiable answers.

If you're going to create a case of alien contact, how about showing a little originality or entertainment value. Not the same old poop.

ATSguy, all of existence is very much the supreme being. So you could say the very fact universes exist defies explanation and it therefore is a divine being.

Turns out that there's no god on the aliens' planet, just like there's no god here. It just stands to reason. The aliens look like some kind of freaky octopus or squid, and we look like people. God obviously couldn't have created them both in his own image, so that disproves God, right there. It's all very logical.

I just preformed some psychokenisis myself after months of trying, and I don't think there are any aliens here helping me.

And what you say about spirits/souls is also wrong, the soul don't "die" ater your body die, I know this because I know people who communicated with souls.

But hey, if you know some aliens, why don't you tell them to visit me?
