This is a particularly important topic to me..
You see, I rarely have "normal" dreams. Almost every dream I have is of something that is going to happen or might happen in my life or elsewhere.
I have deja vu hundreds of times a year, usually at least once every other day if not more often.
It is to the point I do my best to limit my sleep to 6 hours so I won't dream, and if I do, I won't remember it. I also drink lots of liquids
right before I goto sleep so I will wake up to goto the bathroom, thus limiting dream sleep.
If I think about things, sometimes I can get what I think of as an "impression" of it. Meaning I can look at a show on TV, and pull an impression
out.. Like I'll name a cluster of 50 red balloons.. sure enough, later on in that show there will be a scene involving alot of red balloons,
even though I've never seen the show before.
I have only had a few dreams that differed.. I will explain a few of them.. I had a particularly vivid dream back in 1998 one night in Arizona.
I was dreaming I was in this place with hundreds of ash-covered skeletons strewn about, with burning lava and a hazy heat in the air. I was seated
on a throne made of human bones, looking down this asphalt path through the bones when I was approached by a tall man in a trenchcoat who identified
himself as "The Wanderer". He addressed me as Romulus Fatum, which means "Man of Rome Doom" or "Little Roman Doom". We talked for a while,
but I don't remember what about, but I do remember his booming voice instructing me to remember my name. I have never understood that dream, nor
have I had it again since.
The other dreams are usually about world shattering events. For instance, I have these dreams of standing in a field and looking up and seeing huge
meteors coming down, and this one particularly large one passes across the sky and below the horizon, and when it does, there is this incredibly
intense cracking noise or report that knocks me painfully to my back or front, and it is so intense I actually feel it in my bones. Usually these
dreams include news reports or some other way that I find out the earth is being struck by meteorites. I have also had that same type of dream
involving nuclear strikes as well. I don't believe these things, but it is rather unnerving that I repeatedly have dreams with the same theme.
Anyway, there's more, but I will cut it short for now. I'm going to try my hand at a few predictions one of these days, but honestly I'm more
scared I'll be right than wrong.
