2 nights ago I posted some stuff, left the machine on all night, woke up several hours later and the machine was seemigly just the same BUT it no longer allows me to log in. No matter what login panel I find and try to use it always drops back to the main page NOT logged in. If I enter the wrong login data it shows me the ERROR screen for improper password/etc, but when I enter the correct info it just drops right back to teh main page as if I start entered the site.

Also interesting is it doesnt show the sidebar custom colors/graphics/quotes/points/etc, it only shows the above top secret awards if any. Very odd. I dont knwo why ity started and I tried getting it to login all day yesterday and nothing.

Any ideas, besides fire-axe/re-install windows?

ps: I'm posting from work, in a few minutes I'll be leaving and wont be able to reply unless something gives...

Go into your browser settings/options and make sure cookies are enabled.

If that (wecomeinpeace) does not work (meaning already enabled), delete the ATS cookies (or all cookies, will have to login to everything then).

Note: ATS cookies are labeled "forum" ([email protected])

Why bother to log out? I never do.

Sometimes the cookies go crazy and you have to do it all over again.

Maybe it's a multiple user PC.

clear your ats cookies, as mentioned previously. Then login should work okay. I'm thinking you may still have cookies from before the server upgrade. ats uses a different ip addy now, I beieve.

To delete your cookies, in IE, go to 'Tools', Internet Options, then on the 'General' tab there is a button 'Delete Cookies'.

God God Almighty! I'm havin' the same darn problem!!!
I have not logged out on the PC at home. So there's no problem there. But the moment I try to log in on my daughter's PC at her home, it's a blank. Can't post anything, no buttons on the top except the four that include registration, podcasts, search, and new posts.

No avataars, no graphics, no nothing. However hard I may try by fiddlin' with IE and Windows XP security settings, cookies etc, etc, nothing seems to work.

Can any computer nerd or whizkid reading this be kind enough to tell us what the devil is happening here??

Can someone give a step by step method to get this sorted out? I promise I'll include him/her in my hall of fame!!

P.S. The login worked for one session yesterday and I was elated. I was so delighted that I took the whole freakin' jing bang for a pizza bash at Pizza Hut!!
But when I came back and tried to log in again, it all went up in smoke.

I'm seriously contemplating sending the pizza bill to Springer and the other amigos!!

P.P.S. I'm writing from one of the cyber cafes in the neighborhood right now. No problem logging in from here.

mikesingh, try this...

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools, then Internet Options, then select the Privacy Tab.

Move the slider to 'Medium'. It is probably set too high right now...

If not, delete cookies first, then try again.

To delete your cookies, in IE, go to 'Tools', Internet Options, then on the 'General' tab there is a button 'Delete Cookies'.

I'm including your name in my 'Hall of fame!'

Thanx once again and have a nice day!

Along the same lines, all of a sudden I started being unable to clink on links and external images in posts. The error message I got at the bottom of the screen was "Pop-up blocked".

I deleted the Yahoo toolbar and it went away.
