I know this site is about conspiracies, but i've read most of them, and they all seem to be old ones. Which eventually turn into old, and boring arguments. All I see for the most part on ATS, is what just happened, or some kid just making up a hoax. So is ATS basically just a News forum?

Are you exploring the full extent of the board?

Paranormal Studies, Prophecies, Space & Exploration, Weaponry, Political Discussions @ Politics.AboveTopSecret, or laid back General Chit Chat on BelowTopSecret

It takes awhile to see every corner of ATS, sometimes you need to take a minute to look around. And still yet you will miss something.

This is so much more than a simple news sight.

The JFK conspiracy has been around for over 40 years and is still strong today has it was in the 60's. Probably even more so with the advances in technology. This is the same for so many other conspiracies as they can properly be debunked.

Seeing that you registered on ATS yesterday, I hardly see how you believe you are in any position to begin to chriticize ATS. You have a blind eye to all of the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to keep this site rolling.

I haven't gone too far into this site, I just stayed on topic of what was an interest to me. The site is really big and very confusing, but I still like it. I mostly just check the board, and add a tag, or a reply.

Your posts and tags are very important to the continuous progress of ATS.

In all honesty you should check out the whole site before passing judgement. ATS is so much more than a website.

Yes, ATS has news forums and it also has forums to do with topics of almost every kind; ufo's, aliens, cryptozoology, 9/11, George Bush, Iraq, Osama Bin Laden, terrorism, etc. Interestingly enough, each one of those topics is covered in the NEWS.

News is information. What one news source states, another will sometimes omit. Sometimes little snippets of info can be found in one News item that is excluded from another. Regardless, information can be used to discern what is REALLY going on.

Here at ATS, you will find people who scour the newspapers, magazines, books, radio, television and the internet looking......looking for something that doesn't make sense or else they will put together facts gleaned from different sources to recognize a trend, a movement or, yes, a CONSPIRACY.

Things are often conspiracies because people go to great lengths to hide them. Throw a stone into a pool and the stone disappears -- only the ripples remain to give evidence that "something" has occurred. News stories are often the ripples behind a conspiracy.

So to call ATS simply a news forum is, in a sense, correct. However, at ATS you will find people who are actively working to make sense out of the ripples .

Welcome to ATS. It took me a long time before I knew the entire scope of the boards because it's so huge! I still get lost!

Take your time and have a great time! There's lots to discover.

No criticism was intentionally provided, and I am sorry if you were offended. I notice that your title is as followed: Writer-Fighter what does this mean exactly, considering mine says 'Member?

I'll go ahead and query a request for your tar depletion also, seeing as you are of member status currently.

Welcome to ATS Circa. Ive only been here 1.5 years + .5yr for lurking, and i still have a fraction of an idea the depth and complexity of this place that is ATS, BTS, PTS, ATSNN. Its waaaaay more than news.

first of all, what is news, but recent information of happenings around us. Now if you are talking about Foxnews, CNN, MsNBC, then look into who owns them and who the owners pal around with. Controlled information is the word ur looking for. Here at the realm of all layers of ATS, it is information from every angle. Alot of the members here are some of the best researchers in the world IMO. They produce information constantly from every aspect of life. No taboo subjects, its all discussed and picked apart here. Some are experts in their fields, some ask enlightening questions to already crazy subjects, some are...well you'll see.

So enjoy your stay, be patient and absorb all info like a sponge, and get to know this Great Place we call ATS and its members a little longer. A day isnt really time enuff to grasp what this forum and site is all about.

Again...Welcome to ATS Circa

I'm low on tar, the wive's constantly whupping it out of me.

Watch the [ quote ] and [ /quote ] tags. When you quote someone, you want the quote in its own box and your response external to it. So, put this one [ /quote ] at the end of what your're quoting. I have extra spaces in the "quote" tags so you can see them, don't use extra spaces. Oh, and try not to quote the post immediately before yours. Let the thread flow like conversation if possible.
