Transformers! July 4 2007

DreamWorks bi-screeen live-action. Tyrese Gibson is in negotations. Confirmed actors Rachael Taylor and Amaury Nolasco. (source: Hollywood Reporter). Taylor will play code breaker maggie Marconil, while Nolasco and Gibson will play army officers. They join the already cast Shia LaBeouf, who plays Spike, a carryover character from the cartoon series, Megan Fox playing his love interest Mikaela, Josh Duhamel, John Voight and Bermnie Mac in the Michael Bay film.

Production will begin this month.

*In case any of you are too young to remember, Transformers centres on two opposing factions of giant sentient robots. The peaceful Autobots and wily Decepticons - that can morph in to vheicles and other odd devices.
