As most followers of Dr Steven Greer and "The Disclosure Project" will be well aware of, there is a press conference taking place today. I thought I would start a thread related to this latest press conference and for those people who do not know much about "The Disclosure Project", please allow me to enlighten you to their presence:

Now there has been alot of people who say "The Disclosure Project" and Dr Greer is a complete fraud and gathering from the time its taken to release this amazing evidence he claims he has I cannot fully disagree with them but on the other hand I am giving this conference a chance. I am sure that this will probably be the Make or Break for "The Disclosure Project" if nothing extraordinary comes out of this conference then I don't think anything extraordinary will come of The disclosure project and this will have a dramatic effect on what people think about this disclosure project.

It is claimed that the reason it is taking so long is because of the implications of such disclosure could completely demolish the current power structure on which the world is based or put simply the Oil companies don't want you to know about the apparant free energy devices and anti-gravity technologies and this could very well be true but the question I would put forth is if there are really technologies like that, that exist then how come it hasn't become "privatised" which I'm sure could make just as much money as oil but then again I wouldn't really know. We just have to patient I guess.

What do you think, could this be "The Disclosure Project's" Make or Break press conference or do you think this is just another part of a possible deception?

I remember the first one he did for the Disclosure Project the website had a link to hit and there were so many people that the site went down.

What they need to do is get on ABC news, Primtime live, Dateline, Nightline... and one of those "lines" and then present what he claims to have.

Well Ill be there in TO tonight. Yesterday, I threw a "pre-event" BBQ for some friends and news media folks I'm aquainted with.

The nice young lady from the CBC News was very upset when I put on Alternative 3, then William Cooper - Secret Gov't, astro/cosmonaut commentary and footage and then the Disclosure '01 event - seemed especially "verklempt" - 'had my Missus settle her down and she seemed more stabile. I've known this young lady for 20+ years - her Dad works for our client group as a researcher; "he knows", she didn't. Now she suspects "that the truth is perhaps other than which she is comfortable"... I kinda felt bad, and I've just got off the telephone with her makin' sure she's OK. She is, and says she'll attend with her father tonight with or without CBC blessings.

The fellow from Global who I help from time-to-time keeping his "Lucas - Prince of Darkness" positive ground "electronics" MG running (I'm an old Brit-bike guy, LOL) was neither surprised or upset. He asked for a copy of my data archive which I had at the ready on a 2.5" HDD in a USB enclosure... I don't imagine he got much sleep last night (80 Gig'er 90% full). He won't know if he'll be "allowed" to attend until later today owing to his producer's "unique sensibilities", whatever that means.

With the help of some ATS'ers and some of our company "whiz-kids" (both great groups), I (in collaboration and in advance) came up with some hypothetical questions that I "dropped" during the course of the 6 or 7 hours I had their attention as host. Their bellies were full of organic beef and my special Tennessee blend BBQ sauce - they were not "ambulatory" - potatoes-of-the-couch.

The table talk over Chivas and Ron-Rico was "knarly" - kind of "if this is true then this changes everything" and "if that's not true then this guy is lyin' and getting paid for it" - that sorta stuff and finally - what can we do? So I whipped out the latest hardcopies of Greer, Salla et al. and their "exchanges" I said. "You're the professional journalists, I'm just an HR veep - you sort this mess out and I'll help if I can." Each left with at least two different questions they felt were "cogent" and in need of an answer.

I don't expect anything "new" at the TO shindig, but you never know. I did my best to see that a couple of the folks who may potentially be allowed to ask questions are informed and prepared to exploit this potential opportunity.

For my own part I'll have two general audience "bird-dogs" a "pic-in" and a "sniffin" in the audience (and intructions to record every face - MIB or not, LOL) and I'll be there too, camera in hand and digital audio recorder runnin' - full-spectrum data acquisition mode. My earlier phone conversation with the organizer (V.V.) leads me to believe that these folks want "tight" control of this event and the message. Pushed my skeptometer way, way past redline till the valves floated. These folks seem only interested in truth when it suits them - perhaps not.

Happy 5th Anniversary "Disclosure", lets hope the next half decade involves more information disclosure and less "sitting on it." Truth "in-the-can" does no one much good.

Wow. You got the CBC person interested? Well done.

And I might add, having the press develop some intelligent questions before the event was down right brilliant thinking.

Who is organizing the event, the Disclosure Project, or some other group?

I guess I'm unclear as to which group pushed your skeptometer past the red line. Is there some other group hosting the Disclosure Project, and you are concerned about them?

Whoever is going please try to film it so that we at ats can watch it later. Is there going to be a link in the next few days so we can watch this conference like the others or are they going to spend weeks editiing it?

Thanx Ecto'. Yes, the CBC "person" is interested (to put it mildly), the "CBC" well that's quite another matter... I'm sure the "media" or aspects of their command and control is a major component of "the" problem. Any of the CBC "workers" I've met are first-rate journalists and (mostly - not Rex Murphy) nice folks... their "masters" are shadowy and ill-defined and amorphous according to those who should know.

That it was "brill" well I'm flattered, but I had help (masqua got your ears-on son?) from ATS'ers and others and my own humble yet selfishly motivated "truth-needs" needs to satisfy. The event is run by a consortium of 3 like minded groups - or so that's the "as advertised" story to this point and there seems to be more here than one might immediately "suss". Leave it with me for a bit OK?

The skeptometer went "off-the-chart" and "a main-bearing spun on over-rev" and "a rod came out of the side of the block" after chatting with the organizer. I have multiple versions of claimed "truth" to sort out from what appears to be at least a six or seven-sided problem - which may be possible with the passage of time - but "woe-be-tide" to those who have intentionally miss-led or knowingly distorted truth. My concern is that whether exo or xeno-political or just plain old political that we are being lied to in a scope beyond any previously exposed.

Jiff', I'll keep an eye out for the "moustachio'd ones"... click-click. (Bring a "Hi Mom" placard so I'll covertly recognize you) LOL. Enjoy the evening.

I can see why it's taking so long and tabloid disinformation has been stepped up on the internet.

There has also been a deliberate push to move research contracts away from universities that are not compliant with black project requirements.There is a technology war that is starting up and right now the mil/indus complex is rounding up all of the previously public contracts.

1st phase research grants are still available from DARPA to the public. But after that, they want them to go black or information-release controlled. There are some good reasons for this, but I fear the consequences.

I shall be very interested to note the utter lack of mainstream interest. Of course if the Canadian media bite, I shall be very pleased, but I somehow think this one will get the same bum's rush the 2001 press conference did.

why don't you call your local media outfits and encourage your space savy friends to do the same and who knows maybe it will get some coverage. Too bad its about 48 hrs too late.

'Cause I live in the UK and if you've been reading the recent threads on the subject in that country you'll know how the BBC operate. Sorry to sound defeatist... I'm keeping an eye on this thread in the hope of seeing something about the conference on it.

First report from Exopolitics Toronto... the big news is NO NEWS and even less proof. I'll write it up tomorrow and post. No questions were answered directly. I am more convinced than ever that "Houston - we have a problem." Dr. Greer is the master of the "side-step" while not answering questions and morphing into a "soliloquy" using his 20 or so "buzz words-du-jour" to say virtually nothing.

Sorry I'm a bit tired and after a sleep I may feel differently about this "Tony Robbins-esque" deal. Put it this way, I feel less well-informed now than before the event.

Thanks for the information. It is too bad that the press conference wasn't as big of a deal as it should have been. Although, as far as I know they just played videos of Disclosure Project witness testimony for the press. I am interested in Steven Greer's 'Tony Robbins-esque' talk, and if you are into the idea of encoding your recording of the event at all, I would love to hear or watch a copy. I am also interested in your large collection of UFO videos etc. You should become a member on Conspiracy Central ( www.conspiracycentral.net... ) to upload files- if you are into that kind of thing. I upload there a fair amount.

Anyhow, my guess is that Steven Greer has now offically brought his spirituality into the strategy of The Disclosure Project. I have no problem with that, and I am on the same page as him regarding spirituality and UFOs etc. It would have been nice to find out that DP was going to present a real-deal, working alternative technology to the press/world like he always mentioned he would try to do however. Just curious, did anybody ever see Phil Corso Jr's presentation from a UFO conference in 2004? I bring this up because he mentioned Greer several times and said that he knew Greer was trying to help, but that he "wasn't looking in the right directions" and that the people working with flying saucer technology at Groom Lake etc "didn't understand it that much themselves" because there was an anomaly associated with time in relation to flying in the craft (Corso Jr stated that it was "a time machine" and that the E.B.E. that was autopsied from the Roswell crash had 2 seperate brains: 1 biological and 1 with "crystal electronics" and circuits, that they did not understand- but felt that it was a clone/robot). He also seemed to be on board for the idea that humanity is facing a cross-roads where we have to transform spiritually if we are to attain galactic citizenship and use these technologies. Who knows- it also sounds like Greer et al. are having a very difficult time getting these technologies patented and working. I imagine that we will have that huge global economic collapse -first- (like Tom Bearden mentioned in his testimony) before we see these technologies introduced to the public. Which basically means "buckle your seatbelts"!

At any rate, I hope that the journalists that were present got a good crash course in UFO/alternative energy 101 from DP. I also hope that they actually do a decent and thorough report of the information in the mainstream.

I think the disclosure project is the most interessting ufo stuff today, however they need to start releasing some of there "so called" evidence for things to start happening for them! I mean Dr. Greer on one radio station 2 another and only the press conference 2001 to view?! Come on... If they are trying to get free energy and ufo techonolgy for the best of humankind they are doing it in a very sucpisious way!! I come from Finland and if id get my hands on some of that stuff it would have been made public yesterday! Just to say that Finland has bought vaccine for the whole population in case the birdflu virus mutates! So bring on the conspiracys lets se some people try some # here!!

Wow, my personal phone is ringin' off the hook. I had no idea of what I was steppin' into here; OMG - red pill freefall the rabbit hole "is" deep and has sharp roots stickin' out! I told like 5 or 6 people in Toronto what I was up to and it went viral - mostly curious folks... some have the "long knives" out of the "scabbard" tho'.

I'm going to break up my report into one, maybe three report-oids where I'll park my "baggage" before composing - a difficult thing that I'm sure ATS'ers can understand - what I consider to be a factual report. Please be patient, I'm no researcher or scribe - just an HR "talent" guy.

That I had a sleep before starting this has allowed for a little less "attitude" and a little more "altitude" of perspective. My report will have a closing "analysis" that I'm sure will not "win friends and influence people". Those who have read my posts over time will know a couple of things that I feel compelled to disclose in the spirit of openess and non-distortion, first I am a "believer-suspended" who has seen "an orange sphere with a notch out" and that I require actual proof. Second that I make errors and when I do I own up to it and apologize and try and rectify my own shortcomings post-haste.

For geogaddi00, you're most welcome. Yes it is too bad my guess of the attendance was about 250 - 300 tops, and yes, it is my distinct impression that the "evidence" is actively being "sat-on". As to the "Robbins-esque" talk, yes I had two "bird dogs" record the event on digital audio - some came out OK but it is not suitable quality for distribution, leave it with me for a bit OK? One of my friends from an earlier life is an audio tech for the circle that still exists around the rock group Triumph and I'll see if my EA's transcription guy will do what is that he does. Put it this way geo, you are not missin' much by not hearing it. I'd prefer not to upload any data to any system other than those over which I have direct and complete authority and confidence (outside of ATS). u2u me and I can fix you up FTP - all my stuff was obtained on P2P nets mostly by others. Your guess on the "spirtiuality" component may be correct - it may or may not be a technique for ingratiating those so inclined. A couple of folks did unintentionally ask "awkward" questions about "suppressed tech" my report analysis will look at these "queries" as leverage points to expand on what I perceive to be the trouble(s).

I want to take a moment before I close this post and thank some folks.

To "my shooter" the "great humungous" - good enough to be one of the "crew" (PPCLI, pre-JTF2 and William Tell competitor) with orders to shoot Bishop Desmond Tutu in the leg to "drop him" as a security measure - recon-dudes and snipers will know what I'm talkin' 'bout. Pretty GD good photog too - I'll out the event photos at some point - we want to analyse them because we saw at least two people of note - a member of the Thomson family (big bucks CDN/global media) and an older oriental fellow who had white on red diplo tags on his 500SL. Please be patient - we're on it.
