Was Jesus really Alexander?

I read sometime ago that the demonstration to his troops that a wounded (and feared dead) Alexander was alive when he was floated down the river in front of his troops was the basis for the resurrection story in the Bible.

No. The NT was written in Greek because at that time, Greek was the language most everyone knew, no matter their ethnicity.
