Does this happen to anybody when watching a movie sometimes and you get really absorbed into the story, and then you start thinking none of this is real, the characters are just acting, there are cameras and recording equipment right there and a whole heap of technicians standing around just out of picture. Then it kind of ruins the enjoyment of the movie. Anybody else experience this?

I've been on a lot of sets and seen shows being taped, so yes, I think about what's going on beyond the view we see on the screen. I see the mistakes and little continuity errors that detracked from the story being told.

That passionate love scene or dramatic moment loses something when you think about the men behind the cameras, the director, the sound guys, the make-up and costume people, etc.... etc....

Try not to think about it. It spoils the illusion...............
