mormons, yes.
Mormons were grumpy when "crickets" ate their crops.
The crickets, were eaten by seagulls, which saved the crop.
And henceforth, the crickets were renamed "mormon crickets"

This really put the crickets in a bad mood..they became SEVERELY grumpy.
Why?
Because they are neither mormons, nor, are they crickets.
They are non-denominational grasshoppers.

No person is immune from the Grump Force. It permeates all of existence. And I am the master of the Grump Force.

My wife insists on placing matching towels in my bathroom. Who cares? Pshaw. They clash with the laundry I pile in the corner anyway.

Quit smoking several months ago, now I'm getting off of the nicotine.....been chewing nicorette like mad. Can't sleep right....keep having weird dreams...I could probably bite this desk in half I'm so tense.

You're hurtin' on me now. Almost made me giggle.

Nothing damages the flow of the Grump Force more than giggles. But I quickly imagined sour thoughts and strengthened the aura around me.

Notclever-man you have got to get off the nicotine! You will never sleep right and get psycho on that nicotnine gum patches etc...that stuff is worse than smokin'! My father in law kept dreaming psycho dreams like he was killing people!! Trust me I went cold turkey and was much better off! (he went back to smoking anyway!)

Grumpiness differs from a rant in that a rant is considered to be a one-time response to a particular annoyance. Grumps on the other hand, complain about nearly everything all of the time.

I know you feel the Grump Force, your post is very nearly a grumpy post.
