purple frog

Have none of you seen taht new purple frog they have found, yet? Looks like a cross between a frog and a mole... A MOg if you will!

Yup, read about this today. Apparantly it's a species of frog from 1000's of years ago when T-Rex ruled. Quite amazing really.

does anyone want to provide a #ing link or are we supposed to figure it out from the picture? just woindering

Well, that is a crazy lookin' frog... mole... thing.

It does appear very odd to look at from the picture. i had only read about it in the paper today. There are so many things in the wild that we don't know about. There are more species of insect for instance, than any other species in the whole scheme of things. It doesn't even surprise me anymore. It's a long job to catalogue creatures in any biology related material.

A purple frog really isn't that big of a deal.. I mean just look at all the colors those poison dart frogs come in.

The face does look odd, but I think I've seen an amphibian with a face alot like that before on the discovery channel.

However if it was said to be around when dinosaurs walked the earth, that's pretty neat.. but they say the same about sharks and crocadilians.. so not unheard of.

That thing is ugly :O
It reminds me of.. Barney the dinosaur.. for some reason.

Purple mole frogs from T-Rex times, wow i wonder what else could be hidden away in remote areas of our planet.
