Why won't my headsets work?

Hi all

For a year now I have been trying to resolve this.

I think I have honed the question down to this.

Why will my cheap $25 hand held mic work through my 4 channel mixer but my $70 headset with mic won't? Nor will my $20 headset with mic work.

There must be a fundamental difference between these mics but nobody seems to know what it is.

Can anyone tell me why headsets won't work and what I have to do/buy to make them work.

Thanks

Hello traveler. Us humans usually require more data for processing.

Please furnish any other pertinent data. It might be an impedance issue. But I need more technical info....

btw - my best guess is that the mic that works, is a low impedance mic. And the ones that don't, are either high impedance, and/or are 'condensor' mics, or something similar, which require a supply voltage. Any technical info would greatly help in solving your mic mystery....

also, is there any way to change impedance on your mixer??

I think you should take them back to your own Planet and get a refund.
Then buy some decent Earth equiptment and you'll be okay !

Sorry can't help anymore than that
