What the hell is this? Could anyone tell me what has happened in this video?

Ok... I think that it video is pretty weird and I need your help on determining what just happened in the video. I have a theory but will not say it until I have got enough feedback. I don't want to influence anyone’s mind. I want to hear what you think of the video and want to see if we can make any sense of it.

Please take a good look at the video until the end. Then think about what you have just seen and give me your feed back.

I think the camera was moving.

small ufo at a high altitude. Nothing more really. But i ask, What is with the faint disk around it that suddenly moves to the left of it?

Yes I know that the "Camera Moves" and that it is a UFO, but did you notice what happens to the UFO? Weird\

yes, the glow seems to separaate from the craft. It's scary to see it do that in daylight.

This is an alien scout craft entering Earth orbit after a mission. The plume of condensation you see is typical of what you see when the ionized hull (used to minimize sonic booms) passes through a divergently ionized layer of the atmosphere. The sun must have been at just the right angle to see it. Most of the time this is done at night.

Shaky, fuzzy video with a cheap video camera. It goes in and out of focus, camera zooms unnecessarily, yada, yada, yada. It's not the moon, if the date is correct. The black "ears" are nothing, probably just a video artifact: you can see the same sort of electro-solarization effect around the date/time.

That said, it could be a meteor, or, possibly, a rocket launch.

There's a barely-visible vapor/smoke trail throughout the vid which forms a smoke-ring at one point. The section where the object almost disappears might be a stage change, if it's a rocket, or a smallish explosion if it's a meteor. It's hard to tell with the such a deteriorated image.

I see a small light being recorded with a shakey camera. At some point the recorder zooms way out and we see some kind of shutter. Then the camera zooms in again and then past that point to a high level of zoom.

At this point something kind of odd happens where there appears to be divergence of two objective phenomena. Whether this occurs in the optics of the camera or in the sky is hard to discern given the resolution and the shaking, but as the camera steadies and zooms out there is what appears to be a particulate cloud.

After that the object fades out and moves down in the camera view from the apparent cloud like object.

That's all the info I can get from the video.

What was the video's context?

I think Rand got it. Looks like a lot of the rocket lauches I've seen here in Florida(some of which are not publicized).
Without any further details it's just speculation. I could run the date through HNSKY or Cartes du Ciel but without knowing the position of the videographer(ie his whereabouts and which direction faces) or the approximate azimuth of said object or even some longitudinal coordinates not much you can say in regards to possible celestial phenomena.

If its an alien scout craft... just what is it scouting for ? And do they return here to a base of some kind ?

Are they protecting us or something else ?

No, I don't think this looks like a rocket. I live in Florida and have seen my fare share of rockets before.

Apparently it seems to be in the same position and altitude untill "It" happens.

Was you on that mission or what?!

why do ufo's and aliens always show themselves to people who can't steady a camera or usually date their cousins

Check around 6:30:29 -- 6:30:32; stage separation perhaps (it helps to crank up the contrast a bit).

Then around 6:31:10 the smoke/vapor trail lengthens while the central light (flame) dims: the object is turning horizontal and racing downrange.

At several points I can barely make out several very thin plumes in a radial pattern, like stage guidance thrusters.

It looks like a Titan II or some other hydrazine-fueled rocket to me: the flame is not extrordinarily bright (hydazine flame shines mostly in the UV) and leaves almost no exhaust plume.

I'm voting rocket launch with a stage release.

The only thing that I could find on rockets is this video. Does not look quite like the main video. Also, note all the smoke that this rocket gives out. I guess if the main video were a rocket, it might a be different type.

My first thought was maybe a flare burning out.

But on a second look, I thought that perhaps the somewhat curved structure of the initial particulate cloud might have been a shockwave from the initial airflow on a rocket stage release.

But these are just guesses.

Guys, i live about an hour away from KSC in Florida, and often I can walk out to my yard and watch rockets launch.

This is in no way shape or form a rocket. Rockets give off massive plumes of smoke with very obvious color and texture to them, and it lasts for a few hours. This "luminous object" gave off nothing but it's light, and was seemingly stationary in the sky for some time.

My take on it would have to be that it was some kind of jet/aircraft that was flying in line of sight from the videographer with a small cloud. I can defintely see a haziness around the object at first, and then later it moves past the cloud, and you can see the two separate. My guess would be that the aircraft was flying away from the camera so that it would appear stationary until it changed course.

After watching it again, I believe someone could make the argument that it was an object entering the atmosphere and that the could around it is a result of that. Although, that is an exceptionally long time for a meteor to fall to earth....

It can be whatever you want it to be frankly. There are times when the image is stable as well as moving so the camera does not have to be in constant motion in relative the item in view. The item has full motion or the camera does, up down, closer futher etc.
But the best part is the seperation of the main object into apparently two differing objects there. I also saw a dark corona around the item which was interesting. It wasn't a star but something else. Sadly without something else in the viewfinder to act as a reference it is speculation at best.

I believe that it is a UFO and see no reason to doubt it but that is not enough to convince those that do not want to believe obviously.
